Or as I've pointed out previously, we could have done it in 2/3 weeks as we did with Coyle, Howe, Dyche and Ternent. These managers have been in the game all their lives, there's very little not known about them, and nothing that can't be discovered in 30 minutes on Google and a couple of phone calls. I remain intrigued, what do you think our owners can find out about a prospective manager in six weeks, that they couldn't find out in three ?

I would rather Pace et al took their time and made the right appointment. We may have been given the bum’s rush by a few candidates but I am not overly concerned at this juncture. That said people say I am so laid back I am practically horizontal. Looking forward to our get together on July 5th.

So you're an expert in recruitment then ? So why are you refusing to answer a simple question on recruitment ? What can be found out in six weeks about the candidates that can't be found out in three ? And bear in mind that these applicants aren't hermits plucked from some desert islands, they have lived their lives in the public gaze, their work as coaches and managers is reported on and analysed on a weekly, if not daily, basis in the media. 95% of what can be known about them is already in the public domain, in the case of Bellamy it must be 100%, the club have been employing him for the last two years.

So try again to answer the question, it can't be too onerous for an expert in recruitment like your good self. Or is it ?
