Compared with the channel Carragher was on they were almost positive Toon.

They said it was Spence and Spuds fault for hte goal for starters. According to Carragher the ref should have brought the game back as we didn't give him time to go to the correct position.

    Thought Ramsey played well myself.

BUt according to everyone - it was our strongest team and pathetic that we played it when everyone else played 2nd teams.

    We made 8 changes. . . 8.

Carragher has got another 130million reasons to hate Newcastle hahaha.

    Sour scouser scumbag.

If anything Spenny should have been told to leave the pitch so the game can continue. Likewise when a player goes down injured, they're supposed to be off the pitch.

The latter point I still don't quite understand TBH. The team who's player has been fouled and injured is further disadvantaged by the referee making them leave the pitch for a give arbitrary period to time until the whistle man decides to allow him to rejoin and balance the sides.

There is no such rules for or against players unable to do their shoe laces. Clearly D-Jed was wasting time. The game doesn't revolve around the left back for a mediocre mid-table finishing also ran team.

Aye, Spence was taking the piss; knew exactly what he was doing, slowing the game down at a crucial point, getting into our heads. As loads have said, there's no law that requires the Ref to stop the game and it was actually the Ref who encouraged Tonali to take the corner.

They got exactly what they deserved.

Too right. Are quickly taken free kicks not allowed anymore because you have to wait till everyone gets into position?

The PGMOL have encouraged their game managers to 'control the game'. Corporate speak for stopping teams (teams code for non-cartel clubs) from taking advantage of the bigger teams being out of position. They use the BS argument of 'Player safety' to justify it.

If a player is down injured they need to be assessed, a quick restart can mean an injured player doesn't potentially get the treatment they need.

It's all Horse Sh!te. Watch when the Binmen or another Cartel club get too play a quick free kick when they are trailing late in the game if the opponent doesn't stand on the ball at the point of the foul.

    That will, naturally be fine!

Does that mean we're rising in the cartel ranks and spuds dropping.
