I see new Daily Infections are on the way down again and i hope to bring a huge lump of positivity into this tomorrow from that. The talk off this new new Brazil mutation does bring in a bit of reality back in though.
And guess what? They're about to be removed again thanks to a two week Easter break followed by a seven week summer break.
Infections also started to rise when restaurants opened back up. Has the hospitality trade not been closed the same amount of time as schools? Look at that chart and tell me why there is no clamour for those in the hospitality trade to be prioritised when they go back in 4/6 weeks time.

I think you are picking on the wrong person here as i believe ALL public facing people should be vaccinated sooner rather than later if the desire is there to head back to normal. Part of the list has been mentioned in several posts by several people in the last few pages.
My stance with teachers and their STAFF is 1, my wife is a staff member, and 2, i dont think the data that people are relying on was gathered in the right circumstances when their risk was minimal.

With the dominant Kent strain, younger people are getting severe symptoms, ending up in hospital and passing away.
Up to December 2020? The schools were back for quite a time in that spell. During the summer teachers and support staff wouldn't be working so to get data for anything teaching related would be impossible normally anyway. Also, during the first lock-down almost all business were closed or incredibly quiet. I think it IS comparable and it's the only data available.
