Nope, no nerve touched here, just incredulity that supposedly sentient people don't see Johnson for what he is. Mind you it seems some wouldn't fire somebody failing to do their job and who is clearly incompetent, so I guess its no wonder things are going downhill rapidly.

It might have escaped your attention but the PCR test is used to show if you have Covid or not. Covid is a worldwide issue. So I'll repeat the question. Why has MSM (and the politicians and even the Conspiracy Theorists) in the UK ignored this very relevant news?
It’s been bumbling round social media a lot but there are so many panic / conspiracy stories I think it’s just got lost in the mix. Regarding mainstream media maybe they think it’s just a step too far in soothsaying, after all (adding one word to GPS comment) it is only Portugal, again maybe a bit lost in the mix

I went to Greece for 4 days about the same time and echo your "lower risk" assessment rA. Wouldn't do it now though, yet still people do, albeit we aren't allowed to travel so widely.

Yes probably higher risk going to fill up fuel if winter shorts man was filling his van at the same time, but doubt much risk in schools as first day back probably a ****ing inset day

Steady on rA, aren't you supposed to be "risk averse"?

    I know...amazing isn’t it?

I wouldn’t do it right now either, GP...things have deteriorated a lot since early October.

Ah he is, but risk averse people take risks thinking they are not actually taking a risk! personally just going on a plane seems to me like not the brightest idea in the middle of a pandemic and to date teachers have not been an occupation that has had a high level of infections either!

Hmmm...is that so? Like how people who are capable of making very astute observations can resort to childish tantrums and talk bollux even when they don’t know they’re talking bollux, you mean?

I want to visit a relative in Germany..... and raid the local vineyards while I'm there as some of my stocks are very low.

The border is open so I could drive there. No hotels open though and the relative lives in a tiny flat. Also there's the little matter of quaraintine for 10 days a) when I get there and b) when I get back.....

I could drive there and back in a day but that would entail 9 hours driving in total.....

    Simply not worth the hassle.
