You can't distance yourself from social interaction whether you like it or not. You must have had influences in your upbringing to have the career you have. Are you telling me you suddenly thought "I want to be a lawyer when I grow up". Someone or thing will have influenced you to choose the career you did. The job I had after leaving school was very much influenced by my dad. Influence has a powerful impact in all aspects of life though. To say people just choose things of their own free will is nonsense. They choose things on what sounds best for themafter weighing up the options. People who have access to means of giving a more powerful message are more likely to persuade you so to say that Murdoch only has an equal influence as anyone else is just plain bollax.

You are not a computer you are a feckin human being not Mr Logic as i once suggested that was only said as a joke!
Do Muslims choose to be Muslim & Catholics choose to be Catholic [& so on] of their own free will. I think not

That's a good one, I'll try to think of one.

EDIT: So far, Michael Portillo believes the referendum result should be carried out but he voted Remain in the referendum so not quite.

When the majority of the people voted to come out of this horrible institution,I can't think of any presenter supporting the people's wishes when it was decided.A vote which recorded the highest ever turnout. So why does the BBC not represent the way of the people. They're too focused on agreeing unjustified pay increases for each other.

They're in that PC middle-class London bubble, even though many have moved to Salford they're still in it. Waitrose people.

Actually GF even though it cost millions to build, very few wanted to leave the London bubble and they were bribed to take various "bonuses" to go to Salford.I recall Linacre saying he would be chauffered up there rather be based "up north".Says it all.

It's not the job of the BBC to represent any way other than to seek to be impartial.
