I go to plenty of games and wish Osborne well. He's made a brave decision to leave when he could stay for another year at a time of uncertainty and smaller budgets in football.
He was quite exciting with a good shot on him but there was a fair bit missing in his game. He did run out of energy after 65 mins, he was prone to running into dead ends and he didn't help his right back much.
He's still young and may well improve but his basic technique and raw talent are miles away from Roberts and less than Enzio.
Far more upset about releasing Crawford who I think has enough about him to go up a division eventually. I suspect we've nursed him through his apprenticeship years an he'll bloom at Hartlepool next season.

So why did I recall wrong? Maybe you should read the post before providing an incorrect assumption.

Even on a football forum, saying "it could of been" rather than "it could have been" makes no sense at all. Let things like that go uncorrected and next you'll be having people repeatedly putting 'lol' at the end of their posts when they've said nothing remotely funny.
I agree 100%. Saying don't sweat the small stuff is like saying the details don't matter. We've already seen that laddo struggles with words, numbers and facts, but hey, don't sweat the small stuff. Lol.

I tried golf, quite enjoyed the whacking the ball into a hole bit but couldn't cope with the waiting around. Taking four hours to do something that should take two was the thing that put me off. Fishing? I find that about as appealing as American line dancing, which is probably the least appealing and most pointless hobby I've ever seen. I'll stick with racket sports and vegetable growing thank you.
Ahhh so you looking to preserve the English language. Interesting. Sadly I fear you are fighting a losing battle, since the exponential growth of social media platforms, and in particular texting. But good luck with that.

If you are going to get annoyed by spelling and grammatical errors on a football message board then we need you to up your game and show more consistency in your role as part of the site's Grammar and Spelling police.

The word loose continually is used in place of lose when describing a defeat. I've noted this one doesn't annoy you, or you fail to pick up on it.

The other day someone spelt the word embarrassed , beginning with 'imb', again not a word. You can use your advanced search thingy to find out who

Again nothing from you. Looks like you are very selective when attempting to preserve the English language. That doesn't surprise me from one of NCM's chief 'cherry pickers'.

Hopefully you will get better and provide a more comprehensive service to the site. Will keep an eye out to see if you start to spot the loose Vs lose beauty, because that makes no sense at all right?

Just so you know, when you get better at golf , you don't take as many shots and you don't spend time looking for your ball in the heavy rough. So the game speeds up considerably.

    Good luck with the veg.

I think the most likely result of all this is Osbourne signs for Boston, or similar, does "ok", gets a move to league 2 and that is that, a career scoring 3 goals a season, each one followed by a flurry of activity on here talking about what might have been

Jesus wept. The backbiting and one upmanship on here is really too much. Can't we just have one thread without grown men and women trying to out smart each other and put each other down? What are you trying to prove?

    All Notts ain't we?

I'm more interested in who were are signing next as it's been over a week and we still have holes in our team. Grumpy? Any news?

"Could of...", "loosing..." and "there"... for their or even they're, are common grammatical errors or laziness or just ignorance on the part of some posters on here, sometimes they are picked up, sometimes not. The fact that they are used elsewhere is irrelevant.

The misspelling of embarrassed as "inbarrassed" is a standing joke on MAD as it was once used by (I think) a frothy Forest fan a few years ago.

Spelling embarrassed' as 'inbaressed', or variations thereof, is a board tradition in the same way we use 'sauce' instead of 'source'. Or even phrases like 'Up chit creek without a saddle'.

    Just saying, like. Lol.

Other than Tutonda, who he thought was joining Notts but apparently played and scored in a trial game at Brizzle on Tues.
