We were chatting to quite a few MBoro fans on the train coming home last night as they had gone into London from Luton and then out again.
Lots of vitriol towards Uncle Neil and they all wanted him sacked immediately so if it happens then there's another opportunity for gossip and PW is going there
They were saying it's always the Neil Warnock show and he talks about himself more than the team or club.
Poor team selection and playing players out of position lol
Take this with a pinch o' salt as it is only chinese whispers but, I was told last week that Chris Wilder is already set to take over next season and Warnock is moving upstairs in some capacity or other. Make of that what you will.
Boro are a fair size club and it would suit Wilder to push them on to bigger things.
Wilder would also be a good fit for Cardiff.
I thought it was an excellent point away from home against a team that were expected to be much higher in the league and clearly have the players but the previous manager was so bad. We didnt play well and in the 2nd half they hammered us, if they could finish we could have easily lost 3-1, Rathbone had a very poor game by his standards, constantly miscontrolling it and giving it away, even REG didn't play well and was at fault for their goal. To play that badly and get a result away from home is wonderful I was very relieved when the final whistle blew. We could have nicked it as well if Fergusan had a right foot, but that would have been robbery. Ref fell for their tricks, I am amazed how professional referees fall for players diving and acting, do they not get any training at all?
I thought the subs were correct yesterday, first two were forced and it was logical to swap one of the midfielders as they were totally outplayed. We are 3rd in the league unbeaten in 11 you can't fault that, so we are prime for getting knocked out of the cup on Saturday lol
p.s. I see Tilt scored the winner for Wigan, with angus out we really are short in that area such a shame he isn't available to us. I think we will have to bring in a couple of players in January I hope we speculate to ac***ulate, at least a little bit
I'm happy with the point. Last week if I'd been told we were getting 4 points from matches against Sunderland and Charlton on quick turnaround then I'd have thought it was over optimistic. I'm not a negative fan I just knew it was two incredibly tough fixtures and we've done very well.
We're a very good side but we're not so good we can batter everybody, so to get a point away at Charlton on what people are calling an off performance shows just how up for it we are.
On to Bromley now, lets hope we don't underestimate them. Players need a rest that's fair enough but we need to show them respect. They look a decent outfit and their striker Michael Cheek will be a definite threat
Well done Miller, about time you got some recognition but still you’re not a wing back 😉
