If course you can but the risk is much reduced. Am I in some weird quantum leap situation here where everyone has forgotten stuff like this?

Heading off and spending the best part of 5 hours on a bus & likely more than that in a pub/club? Not for me it isn't. Certainly not when we're being warned of the biggest wave of Covid cases since it began.

It boils down to this for me.

we should definitely have to play these games, self inflicted. If it is the new variant, would be miracle if it was single positive (just got to hope its butcher seen as he's suspended anyway). Crazy decision to take this risk during possibly the busiest point of the season, players could be potentially missing 3 matches. Rangers we are likely to lose anyway, but bigger damage could be during the Hibs and St Mirren homes games. I suspect we will see a lot of chaos to football calendar in the next few months.

Exactly, we're about to have a 3 week winter break. Why not have the night out after the last game before this? 🤔

Would the players be meeting other family members over the Christmas period...would their family members definitely not been in crowded areas...have any of the players or their families have kids....would tbey have been at school? Its a pandemic, guess what...more players will get covid over the festive period too!
All of this is far more palatable than having any of our players driving home half canned after a party!

Meeting relatives is hardly the same as going to a nightclub. 🤔

Although part of my risk assessment noted that Dundee is currently the 3rd lowest cases/100k area in Scotland, i have to ask if someone half my age would even think of checking the same information for the area they were visiting?
Or you would have thrown your ticket in the bin of course
