Unbeaten start to the season and a winnable game at Wolves next Sunday. Might have a new signing or two by then too dare I say it
Aye, Trini, our starting 11 (with Targett at Lis very good but we need some serious options off the bench.
I am absolutely astonished at how far we have come in such a short time, that game today was unbelievable I couldn't fault any player on the team, they all fought for each other, under Br*** the team would have collapsed after they scored the first goal. I can only imagine how far we can go this season with a couple of attacking new signings. Eddie Howe is the man.
Wow.
Before their 3rd we should have had a free on their 18yd box. Joelinton was a climbing frame for another missed free. Ref wanted to send Tripps off, no way was that a red. A few decisions went their way at key moments but I am not bitter.
Dellighted with a draw but tasted the win for a minute. Hats off to the lads, wait to see what we do when we make more signings - thise lads that came on show how fragile our starting 11 actually is.
...what was that, 10 minutes of extra time ffs.
Great result.
The spirit the team showed was brilliant - it shows why Eddie wants the character to be right for anyone we sign.
ASM was immense. We need that week in week out.
Well i doubted the lads before the game given the sheer quality City possess. That will be the last time i doubt this team. Their passion, their work rate, their togetherness and the quality they continue to show under a brilliant manager and the best supporters. Both delighted and disappointed with a point against the best team in Europe. We’re back in the big time!
Glad it wasn’t just me who thought the ref was poor. The refs’ve been told to let the game’s ‘go’ but some of them are letting players kick pieces out of the opposition and doing nowt.
I try to be objective when looking st refs but the one today certainly favored City. He’s Australian isn’t he? (should stick to the rugby).
