    NUFC vs Man City

Pope; Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn; Guimaraes, Joelinton, Willock; Almiron, Saint-Maximin, Wilson.

Hmm...we'll miss Targett today, I think.

Not expecting anything from this, tbh-I just hope we play a lot better than at Brighton and that Man City haven't yet learned to look up and see Haaland (Shearer was making the point that Foden didn't square it for Haaland to score last week because they're not used to having someone in the positions he gets himself into but once they do...).

Yes, I’m disappointed Targett isn’t playing - need a blinder from Dan Burn today.
Just hoping we’re on fire and they have an off day.

Why do we still have Dummett? And where is Lewis? (I like both btw, just that Dummett is eternally injured)

We are going to get spanked today I fear.

Botman vs Haaland will be interesting.

We need Maxi at his best today.

Aye, Maxi needs to be the best version of himself today.

I keep looking at their team and going 'shit, he's playing...oh, shite, he's playing,...ah, bollocks, he's pl...'

    Well, you get the idea.

Fair point on Dummett - could’ve been released in the summer when his contract was up. I can understand the logic of giving him another year to provide cover at left back and left centre half until the commercial side grows and we upgrade but you’d think a game like today he would do exactly that - provide cover for Targett. If he doesn’t play at Tranmere on Wednesday I’m not sure if he’ll ever start again for us.

Well, now...that's not a very good start.

They didn't have to try for that goal at all...shocking defending.

Bruno needs to be really careful here, that foul could easily have earned him a 2nd yellow

Shaping up to be a long afternoon

ffs Miggy, man. Such shite technique. It's not like we're going to create many chances.

Strangely, we've been on top for the last 10 or so minutes. Final ball poor, though.
