I can't remember, did any Millers fans ever join us all on England mad ?.
When it used to be one of the best boards. 👍

I've knocked him but up till his sending off Bramall was playing well. Lindsay disappointed me when he came on had a couple of half chances but both weak efforts. Might be worth trying to get Odoffin up to speed. I felt for our manager cause some thought went into team selection/formation. Next 2 games will be the same like I said before last night one up front pack the midfield. Was sickening for the side how it ended last night but we showed the spirit we'll need against these better sides.

This block of fixtures leading into the World Cup break has been a nightmare. Not just the quantity but also the opposition.Ironically ,Warne would have managed the games at Coventry and Sheff Utd without the pitch saga and the Queen's death but ,none the less, this has made a difficult run an almost unbearable one.4 points from the next 3 games is required for us to take a month off with at least some relief.

Can't fault the effort but still going in the wrong direction, down the table.

Well done Wiles, was a great header for goal, yes I did say you’d play well with hopefully a goal. Please try to do that every game

A player sent off, a match extended by about 20 minutes with 2 goals coming in added time. On such contentious decisions are promotion and relegation settled - not in this case, I hope.

Yes we are but we are still above 10 teams including Wigan who are now in the bottom 3.Sunderland,who came up with us,are only 2 points better off.We have to resist the idea that the bottom 3 is our 'rightful' place which is not made any easier by the media. The Comms on Sky last night were awful. They talked about us as if we were 10 points adrift at the bottom.Only the other week the BBC opened a match report by ,'Championship strugglers Rotherham.......',when we were 12th in the League!

I agree Jimmy that the mainstream media have their own stereo type image of us all the time.Always half way down the table not halfway up the table.Credit never given to us ,they would have been disappointed not to see us, give it the hoofball.Credit to MT for changing our way of passing and both goals were well created.NOT set pieces who"they are noted for".An enjoyable match apart from the result. I agree about the Sky commentary, he talked about us like we were a non league team playing championship opposition in a cup tie.

This is one of the threads from the Burnley forum and some of them are quite complimentary about the way we played.
One poster made me laugh when he said he could understand teams playing like that (Time Wasting) in the premier league because of the money at stake, totally oblivious to the fact that championship football IS our premier league, and the extra money from being in the championship, with TV money and big away followings, coming to our ground and filling the coffers.
At the start of the season, Burnley would have been a short price for automatic promotion, and we were odds on for relegation, so we both had totally different agendas for the coming season, but apparently it's only ok to waste time if you're in front and playing premier league football. UTM
