What surprised me is just how much he's continually improved, and just how effective he has been. I said all of this before his two impressive and key performances when it truly mattered in the playoffs.
If you have seen him as much as i have, then you will know that he can beat his man early doors, then afterwards he resorts to passing back or sideways. That has been his way all season. He can be very frustrating to watch, as others have previously said on here.

If you've seen him so much why have you continued with this '10 minute wonder' assessment of him. Nemane has given you ample opportunity to reassess , praise on all those games where he has been one of , if not, our biggest threat. Speed kills.

Let's be honest it should be easier for you than anyone to change your mind, but we are still waiting.....

Even in the more limited I know he can be frustrating to watch, beating a man 1 on 1 is not an easy thing to do in football hence why it's valued so highly. Against Borehamwood was a good example in the semi final, but he was still a threat all game. Hence why he wasn't substituted.

Did he beat his man multiple times in the final, the big one, when it mattered most? Was he is still taking on his opponent well into extra time whilst others on the pitch slowed, went down with cramp or were subbed off?

If you can't recall, re-watching the game will give you your answer well before the final whistle. As I and many have said on here he was our second best performer on the day. He stepped up.

    "Whatever" is the correct response.

As for JB some say poor, some say mixed, either way the class/potential was there, patience and an open mind was all that was required. Agree he wasn't (match) fit, and the fastest way to get him match fit was to play in matches, which is what LW did. He obviously trusts him.

Agree again, "he got much better", no old pals act signing, just a quality signing yet again from the club. Out of interest what would you rate his performance out of 10 at Wembley?

How do you rate check back Chicksen? He can't beat a man. He was improving before his injury but seems to have gone backwards in his play since coming back. Teams hate opponents with pace. Nemane would have got a new contract before Chicksen if it was up to me

As I and others have said, we don't know how much of that is him and how much is Luke Williams.

If Williams puts the emphasis on keeping/recycling the ball unless you're absolutely certain that the run/pass/shot you make is the right one, then that could tell us why he does that.

That said, I'd agree that a better winger would be more confident that taking their man on was the right thing to do.

Of course that's what he does it must have early doors on Saturday through until the end of extra time.
I would go as far to say that of the players that were with the club under IB Nemane is the most improved player.
I thought versus Forest in pre-season that he looked nervous and afraid to take his man on but during the course of the season LW has given him the confidence to believe in himself.
In the last few weeks he has even got quicker and better with his throws(daft really but as a winger he's probably not taken many throws in his life)
Hopefully during pre-season LW can get him more comfortable on his left foot so he can go inside aswell as outside.
We know in the squad that the players have faults lack of pace, struggle to beat a man etc etc but all I can say is everyone in the squad have made a contribution to help us get promoted this season and hats off to all of them and LW for keeping them all involved especially the likes of Ed Francis, Vinny and Kairo Mitchell.

Usually a sure-fire metric, but maybe not as much as usual in a season that the team scored 117 goals.
