Welcome aboard Sam, good luck. The pressure on the lad knowing the staff at ASD lighting will now not be getting a pay rise will be massive.

    Welcome Sam.

I've just been watching this on Youtube and his personality seems to show through a bit, as well as just being a showreel of goals.

Can't wait for him to get going.

I do feel a bit sorry for Christ Tiehi. His transfer seemed to rumble on, longer than he was our actual record signing.
    How unlucky

The Millers doing that, who'd have believed it. Well done Everyone.

I don’t think that will have bothered Christ one little bit ?

Let’s hope he delivers. I hope he gets more than 4 games before been judged.

Welcome Sam and here's to you having a great time here at RUFC. Only 24 years of age......wow!
I hope I'm wrong but I'm complete underwhelmed
I don't understand why we'd spend a million quid on a similar style forward to Kayode who we're seemingly willing to let go for 200,000?

Yes, Nombe is a year older and in that year, had his breakout season but his record until last year in terms of games played and goals scored was very similar to Josh's career so far
But Kayode was always seen as having promise, by the club and by Ireland - Nombe was let go by MK Dons (I know that doesn't mean a lot as many great players were let go over the years, just like Decca passed up on the chance to sign The Beatles)
So, I guess we're paying for that one year - when Nombe bagged 15 goals in 43 games (plus 2 goals in the 7-0 cup drubbing of Cheltenham's reserves)
My problem with that is that he was playing alongside Jay Stansfield, a real handful who provided a bucketload of assists - if we'd got Stansfield on loan for a year and were giving Kayode another chance, I'd be a lot more excited
If Taylor's track record with forwards didn't consist of signing Hugill, I'd be more upbeat
But if JJ moves on for a fraction of Nombe's fee, then Sam better be very, very good
I still can't forgive Taylor for losing Vickers and getting Dillon - Can't help feeling that Josh would have kept the score down on Tuesday night.....

I'd be much happier if he were joining Barnsley for 200,000
