Austin was very good tonight on the left, Johnny Bostock his usual of outstanding, Crowley looked a level above so did Palmer and Didzy in flashes with some of them touches showed he’s a different gravy.
    Baldwin played well looked solid.

4 points out of 6 from two away games against MK Dons and Salford is a great return. MK Dons are obvious contenders and while Salford are struggling a bit at present, I'll be surprised if they don't improve as the season goes on. We look like a quality team, with several players who can perform in multiple positions.

    Great performance tonight.
Made up for the defeat a few years ago.Colin Slater was totally dejected that night.

Nemane needs a ****ing rocket for that from Williams.Total indiscipline and needless.

    Otherwise excellent Notts.

Why? He got caught out positionally, there was no cover. He had to do it IMO. Just lucky he didn’t do it a smidge later as it looked borderline a penalty.

    We bossed the game again.

All credit to us, but anyone else think NL teams had more personality than these very forgettable L2 teams?

I can hardly recall a player from Donny, Accy, Tranmere, Morecambe, Salford, even MK they all seem clone-like and instantly forgetable.

    An excellent display tonight.

I thought before these two away matches against MK and Salford that these would be the acid test as to just where we stand in this league. The signs are very positive indeed.

I thought top 10 before the start of the season and now I’m going for top 9!

It'll be a long while before I forget those aggressive, lanky bar-stewards from Sutton. But where are they now?

Yes, I didn't include them as at least they had a personality (maybe more a NL side )

The ****ing rocket he deserves is for the first yellow, not the second. I've never said a word of criticism against Luke Williams since the day he was appointed, but it has to be his fault that we have failed so dismally to get a grip on the new guidance. Last season you could get away with it, this season you can't. Right from the start I've said that these many pointless yellows we have picked up by ignoring the guidance will eventually turn to red if we commit a 'proper' foul. Sort it out Luke, you are usually one step ahead rather than one step behind. Luckily it had no bearing on the result tonight, but it will have one day.

Rant over, that was a comprehensive win. Great to see us dominate possession away from home as much as we did in the NL, we are making teams play our way rather than their way.

Hopefully we see Austin and JJ in the winger roles. I can’t call it wing back as defending seems low on the priority list for that position
