Btw have you got an opinion about the game or just going to pick up on someone’s post?
I gave a few opinions in the match thread. Nothing's changed so I don't feel the need to repeat them.

The question is fast becoming "Do you trust MT to rebuild at L1 level and challenge for promotion?".

The answer is fast becoming no.

I said that for me he has until after this run of teams near the bottom before I'd call time. I stand by that.

We must beat QPR. If not a victory in that game he should be shown the door.

Well everyone has a line somewhere and today's circus has crossed it for me. Before anyone jumps in and criticises with the usual "fickle fans after one bad result" nonsense, I don't think I fall into that category. I'm often accused of being a happy clapper and I've tried to see positives in Taylor's tenure all the way through.

But today is unforgivable. After beating Coventry with a blood and guts battling performance, we go to a team thats rock bottom, low on confidence and a LOCAL RIVAL. A RELEGATION RIVAL. But Taylor opts to play tactics that have proven time and time again not to work and allowed the most downbeat team in the league to walk all over us. A friend of mine who is an Owls fan said they were there for the taking today and almost couldn't believe their luck at how negatively and slowly we started. If we hit the ground running and pushed forward from the start Wednesday would have collapsed, but we didn't. We played like the ghost of Gareth Ainsworth was deploying the tactics in the hope of grinding out a 0-0 draw. UNFORGIVABLE!

The tactics set by Taylor today were clueless, inept and stunk of an arrogance not seen at Rotherham since Alan Stubbs almost ruined the club.

I know it infuriates postees like IBS when we talk of the "Rotherham mentality," and I know Warne had his faults and limitations, but at least with him the general feeling when we lost was that we gave it a good go and were generally outplayed by teams with much bigger resources than us. In this league, you can take that as a Rotherham fan knowing the financial restraints that we have. But what we witnessed today shows that there is a huge disconnect between Taylor and the club, for all his talk of harnessing a fighting mentality to "silence Hillsborough" he showed today that he just does not get Rotherham United.

I'm not even angry, I'm disgusted. Time to go Mr Taylor, thanks for trying but your experiment has failed. Just a shame you chose the S6 hill to die on

In MTs interview he looks in tears almost. And angry.

I do wonder if a chairman who has formfor sacking managers after bad local derbies has given the warning or marching orders.

The rhetoric from him was odd. He led a war cry and inspired seemingly no one.

I agree about the formation. A formation he's canned three times now 30mins into a game, which tells you he knows he's got it wrong.

After the tactical change we were worse, visible confusion and a lack of giving a toss too.

Rathbone went up for that corner in the early part of the second half. He opened his arms wide and asked "What's going on". Sums up our season.

Because you picked on IBS's post or do different rules apply to you?
You may not like his opinions or when he makes them but you are not the referee about what people post on here even though you may think you are.

Wtf are you on about? Did I say he wasn’t allowed to post did I say he wasn’t allowed an opinion?

He put a thread up about wanting him gone to wind people up.

I replied I want him gone.

You jump in and obviously with both feet to have a go at me for replying to him.

You’re clearly wanting an argument over nothing so im leaving it at that.

I’m sure Idiot won’t take any notice and I’m sure he’d expect it but probably expecting more abuse than what he actually got

One irony has come from this debacle today how often is it that millers fans go to the sty disappointed we have not rolled them over? A touch of we should be beating teams like Sheff wed perhaps? and shows how poor they are as well as us

For me it's the performance thats the issue. If we'd have gone out and matched Wednesday for effort and fight and lost a classic then yeah, obviously it'd still be heartbreaking but you know the team has left everything on the pitch. Local derby games are notorious for going off script because of the intensity involved.

So for me going into the game, the derby factor, plus the inevitability that Rohl has to win at some point, made this a real 50 50 where I hoped we'd hit them hard early and sap their confidence. Just like Plymouth did. But no, we went out there and played like Wycombe's reserves in the Ainsworth years. Wednesdaycame to battle and were probably shocked at how little resistance they faced
