Earlier this week, Minteh’s agent – Bacary Bojang – revealed he has “agreed terms” with one club with Newcastle “willing to sell”.

“It is correct that Newcastle are willing to sell the player if they receive a good offer,” Bojang told Chronicle Live.

“From our side if Newcastle wants to sell and the sporting project is good we will definitely look at it. We are in communication with some clubs.

”He later added: “I can’t confirm clubs who are in communication with us. We have agreed terms with one of the clubs. So now the rest is with Newcastle.”

This being true and, the fact, that his position is one that we need to strengthen, can only mean that there’s something with Minteh that EH isn’t happy with.

Although I think everyone did something pretty dumb being young. If its true, there must be something really serious
I’ve heard of footballers not being signed for looking at their mobiles while in meetings discussing the transfer. Quite right too. Attitude is everything.

Yeah, if I'm in talks with someone in control of my future career, location, is offering me untold wealth and fame doing something I love, call me old school but they will have my full attention, the phone will be switched off and the snacks on the back burner.

    Exactly.

Although I guess that might change as the younger generations come through who are so attached to their phones, it won't even occur to them that it's rude to be on the phone whilst their future is discuess.

I do agree with both of you though.

Apparently the whole BS DCL/Minteh deal is back on the table.

    What a total Shyte show!

I will not be happy if that loser ends up joining Newcastle United at any price this summer or anytime in the future.

Even for free, DCL is a no hoper and a total waste of a shirt.

If Branthwaite is in the mix I'll take it.

Minteh + 30-35 for Branthwaite would be interesting however, he is another left footed left sided CB.

    Botman
    Burn
    Kelly

    Branthwaite?

There is positional coverage and then the is positional coverage.

Latest report I saw said it was Brighton taht were in pole position for him.

Offer is £30 million and no clauses. . . Apperently he fits all their metrics. . . course he doesn - he'll have a brilliant season there and then be flogged to LiVARpool for £80 million next summer.
