In brief

- I agree with Evans, we may not have played well in first half but were the better team and as usual created clear chances to be ahead before they scored. But we fell apart alarmingly until half time. WE need stronger character to respond to good and bad situations well
- Excellent first half of the 2nd half - we clicked and showed what we were capable of
- Don't agree with crits of Tiehi - he played well for me, doing simple things well
- Don't agree with overpriase of Holmes - he looks lively and good to see but he was able to operate behind a pressing Reading team and gave him space that he doesn't normally have. Lacked composure when in good positions, but better to come I hope. Not sure the time is now though
- Do agree with JCH and Wilkes crits - JCH does very little, even Hugill would be more mobile and Wilkes seems to lack end product. I'd go for him on wing, or if persevering with player behind front two, I'd go for Odoffin who looked good in that role at the start of last season until he got injured but was then CD for most of rest of season
- On short, we look like our position suggests, a mid table team but with capacity to do better of the cogs can be fitted. Defence looks ok but the protection of the defence less so
