I would liken right now to when Danny Bergara was manager. The football was dire then. Didn't fatty Steve Cherry get lobbed from near the centre circle on one of many drab misty Tuesday night home games?

I feel about as much for the club now than I did that season, and we got relegated to L2?

    I also didn't even mention

    Lee Glover
    Alan Lee
    Ian Helliwell
    Ritchie Barker
    Darren Byfield
    Leo Fortune West
    Michael Proctor

All in their own right way better front men who didn't cost a third of what we paid for Nombe (which isn't his fault BTW)

But it would be quite easy to counterbalance the good ones with 'donkeys', some would even say RB was one of them. Gijsbert Bos certainly falls into the perceived donkey category despite having quite a good GPG record.

Very harsh on Wiks that RU66 imo. If you had said he was inconsistent i might have agreed with you.On Saturday he appeared to me to be our main threat. Brought two saves off their goalkeeper(possibly should have done better) and then scored to make it 2-0. Holmes is raw but improving,Hungbo similar. To say you would sooner see McGuckin is not founded imo. He has been loaned out and returned so our management team see him as a work in progress which he is.

Wilks has the pace and the abilty to go past players. Unfortunately he has the ability to frustrate us fans.I still believe he should be selected before Holmes,Hungbo and Mcguckin and so does the manager. Evans still has to get the formation and balance right in this team but for me Wilks is just about an automatic choice. I do accept you know more than i do RU66 so i will keep an eye on the development of the lads you think should be playing.

Wilkes has no pace previous home game they put him on the left his natural side he got no joy there couldn't get past defender. Hate players that can only cut inside sign of a player without natural ability. Know alot more famous players than him it's how they play but for me going on the outside it's how game used to be for the better. Think of Towner Cheio. Holmes might not be ready if not I'd like to see what McGuckin can do there.

Sky did well to compile that collection of highlights from the meagre morsels served up on Saturday. But you're correct - on that evidence we look like a classy side!
