A friend of mine who's a Wednesday fan said he looked like a promising player when he was there a couple of years ago. Got some pace and puts himself about. This was in evidence yesterday at the Mansfield game I was impressed.

Apparently the reason it didn't work out at S6 was because the formation they were utilising at the time didn't include wingers, so he just didn't fit in to what they were trying to do. But a few of their fans were disappointed to see him go and saw his move to Bratislava as a shocking waste.

So if he comes here with a point to prove and talent to match, then this could be a very good signing.

As for McCart, he did ok yesterday but he seems to have a few mistakes in him. There were a couple of times we looked really shaky at the back and it always seemed to be when McCart was involved. At the moment for me he looks like Mansfield is more his level than us but I hope I'm wrong

Need a wide left defender then. Blackett he's central defender. Bramall he's not a defender full stop!

I like Billy Sharp but if it’s just one last pay day then no thanks. Besides as Paul Davis said he should have decided by now if he wanted to come and put the hard yards in to get match fit.

With only 12 days to go before the start of the season, it doesn't look good on Sharp does it? Has he been doing pre season with Sheff Utd? I contrast this with Richard Wood who joined Doncaster a week after the season finished,was first through the door for pre season and is rolling his sleeves up and getting stuck in.

Doubt he has. He will come prob very unfit and expect a first team place. It may even be part of his contract. Please dont go down that road millers. Sonething dunt smell right about all this.
