How we are top of the league with the standard of reffing is beyond me. We have had about 3 decent refs all season the rest have been shyte
Been reading the Burton forum.
They recon Burton played very well, some even saying the best they have played all season. And more than matched us.
Majority also say we're the best team they have played all season
Strangely most Rotherham fans think we were below par.
I thought their keeper pulled off a top drawer save in the second half, I stood up & clapped him & shouted well done, credit where its due. To me I thought Crooks M.O.M. We took the 3 points to keep us at the top. Just to think the silly points we gave away at home in the start of the season, we could have been 8 or more ahead of the second placed side.
Just been looking on quest on that back pass even if there’s a rule saying he has to have both feet on ground like NFL, it’s still a free kick
What I remember of the game at Burton was Wiles constantly taking the ball off Little Quinny (fairly,) and leaving him feigning injury to try to get sympathy from the ref. Warney probably should have given Wiles a man-marking role. If you shut down Little Quinny, Burton can't do much. (Bit like Pigs with Bannan.... seems like years ago, now but if we had man-marked Bannan... even Wednesday fans were saying that)

A journo from The Derby Telegraph published a link to his article about the match on one of the Burton Albion message boards. I thought it was an honest and very fair assessment of the game as well as being well written...
"My thoughts on the game... could have gone either way, another day we'd have won it. Credit to them, they do what they do well and they have a real find in Ogbene."
