Easier said than done jj........I really do hope our fans appreciate MM a good bit more now. His game management is miles better than numerous managers before him and to be honest I've never been bothered with his cautious approach since the two 4-0s and the so called 3 CH approach. You only need to look back at the Sevco game when we were 1-0 down and while still playing 3 CHs our LB crossed a great ball in at the back post for our RB to score a great goal......so both full backs in the opposing final quarter...therefor not a back 5 but when attacking just a back 3.

It's not so called formations that make football sore on the eye at times,it's often lack of player quality and maybe player confidence.

Looking forward to Motherwell at home now. More of the same please.

I’m happy with Micky M. He came into a tough situation and has made us competitive at this level.

Very pleased that got our wish 4-4-2 and Bolton and McMullen starting. We are a much better attacking prospect when McMullen plays.

The fluency of the play and how dangerous we are is like night and day sometimes. Could see from starts we were going to create.

McNulty was fantastic with his goal. Pleased for Shanks.

All the defence have come on to a game.

Fuchs was immense. He was so strong. I don’t think he’ll create a massive amount but he has that ability to retrieve and keep the ball for us. That’s why wide players helped as then we had the outlets to make things happen and find a player.

One of the best performances this season.

    Happy Christmas all !!

It's easy to see why one or two posters have intentionally called him Gomis and Kante. He's got some of the same qualities. Every team needs a player like that, breaks up play, keeps the ball, moves it, finds his man more often than not, mobile, busy, always looking to be involved. Wants to play it forward as much as possible. As you said he's also deceptively strong.
A couple of times in the last two games he's made the wrong choice or got caught in possession but he's still learning the Scottish game. But then he's not Kante is he, if he was he'd have got a move straight to Sassenachland. Looking to be a really good signing, will be an important player for us now.

Going back to tonight's game I felt a lot of the time we weren't clicking quite right but if we had we'd have scored 5 or 6. Not sure how good we were and how poor Killie were. But take a 2-0 home win every time.

Just got a feeling that time is running out for Alex Dyer and he may well join Kettlewell on the managerial scrapheap.I never had much time for the latter but his chairman takes no prisoners eh?.

The main commentator is ok if your watching. If you are just listening you have no idea what’s going on because he doesn’t describe the action enough and leaves long gaps.

Of course we all love MM this morning but had we lost last night he was in deep ****. That's how fickle it is so can I appeal for rationale at all times? Thanks.

Criticism yes but I am not sure he would have been in 'deep sh it' if we had lost last night, after all we would have been still in the top 6. And that is the whole point he has grinded out results, its not been pretty but he has us in a very respectable position points wise. I think we are all hoping in the January window MM may be able to fill in some of the obvious deficiencies in our squad that he has amazingly has managed to get to 5th place at the half way stage.

Would not be expecting too much in january with way finances are to be fair but maybe if some out then will be able to bring one or two in.

If Benji goes I would expect something from the proceeds to go on bringing at least 1 player in.
