    Killie

Feel like this is a massive match

Our following games are probably more difficult

    Killie are in poor form.

We gave them a massive lift and we took a dent with the 4-0. Time for a bit of a revenge.

It’s also time to kick on and show our attacking credentials.

It’s an absolute 6-pointer against a team around us in the league. We need to win and start looking up in the table.

I feel like Shanks is due a goal and could get going with this game.

4 at the back please and McMullan on from the start.

    Come on United !!!

Simplistic i know but Killie were riding high with the evergreen Chris Burke playing out of his skin and causing havoc v opposition defence's.
Simplistic again i know but his form has went from the high's of Paul Sturrock to Robert Glennie overnight and in my opinion that is why Killie have struggled recently.
I still hope he is dropped against us because on form he may rip our back 5 to shreds.

Need to win this tonight, looking for a positive formation from the manager

4 at the back and Bolton or McMullan starting, Would like to see McNulty in behind Shanks and Clark trying to create something

Get ready for 5 at the back and 3 up front with zero service in midfield

Don't think it's as must win as being made out although would be great, we have another home game to come in three days, think we definitely need to win one of them at worst though, 4-6 pts would do nicely

Think Killie are better than recent form suggests and have dangerous players like Burke and Brophy etc so yes we will need to perform well all round to win

Like to see McMullan start, would have Bolton on the bench

Yes when looking through Killie line up they are decent and have dangerous players up front and creating.

I’d actually put Killie above the relegation candidates in pecking order.

Unlike us they have a load of weaker teams to play in following matches

It will be big test for us tonight

The 4-0 game was ironically the last time we played open, expansive football. We had 67% possession that day with 19 shots on goal. I think it was that heavy defeat that convinced Mellon he didn't have the players to play that style of football and went to a defensive, hard to beat way of playing.

This is a very important game for us. The other fixtures are as good as it gets to see most of the teams below us set to drop points. If we can win and the other results go our way we open up a bit of a gap.

Get McNulty in behind Shankland and Clark, use our improving width and create those chances.

    C'mon United!

My team...not what will MM start

    ................Benji
    Smith Connolly Reynolds Robson
    .............Powers
    ....McMullan McNulty Fuchs
    .......Shankland Clark

Wouldn't disagree with that but we need to attack and score first in this one before we concede!

I expect nothing other than three at the back once again, changing to a four at some point in the second half once we've either gone a goal down or it's become apparent we can't get passed the halfway line.
