It’s alright pointing out the obvious Elite but what’s the answer? Find owners like Wrexham have? As I remember we had a couple of crooks, someone who probably didn’t exist and fortunately the Danes who have already invested millions.

We all know why we are down here, but every season two clubs (like Barrow and Harrogate) get promoted from this division. I keep reading a stream of excuses why we can't expect to be one of them.

Are we really setting the bar that low?

    I don’t disagree, I don’t think anyone’s accepting mediocrity but what’s the answer?

I'm told on here that the owners are accepting mediocrity and that they aren't funding the club enough (like Barrow and Harrogate?) so aren't ambitious! Bar that questionable suggestion I can't see anyone else who is accepting mediocrity on here, but I keep reading the suggestion from the same people.

So now it's official he has left. I hope the owners have a plan in place

I've been saying it off and on for 20 years.... either Notts re-locate or Fword do. to opposite sides of the city, be that north-south or east-west with a gradual re-alignment of support over 20,30 years with Notts then offering more than just an opportunity to support an underdog or a cheaper match ticket, they literally become something Fword aren't, THE local team, not the lesser choice of two virtually on top of one another.

As we are, if Notts had any kind of success we'd most likely crash back down and end up on the brink yet again, that's basically been the pattern for 60 years now. Being nothing more than the underdog is a one way street to non-league oblivion and here we now are.

Nottingham just isn't big enough for either to move and make a difference in my opinion.

'....home', they have a good chance of beating us at home. Just needed to add that bit in to make it a much more accurate post.

As Matt correctly highlighted to select season 2021/22 as the one where you believe we are a laughing stock is an interesting choice.

So now you choose to suddenly forget 2018/19, interesting lol.

On the official site now as well.
The expected worry now is the bit about overarching philosophy…Christ…if they mean tippy tappy around the back forever again and no aggression, then we’re going to be in for a long wait to get that sign up on the stand again…
