    As representative as social media and the wider Internet goes, it's fairly widespread.
    But on here a poster said something to the effect that he'd turn a game of fitba on the TV off if the players knelt.

    Largely anecdotal though.
    Does booing count as anger or simply disagreement with the anti-racist sentiment?

    Turning off to the TV doesn’t count as anger and neither does booing players taking the knee. People can disagree with whatever they like

    I'd say the phrase 'I'll boo the utter phuck out of anyone taking the knee' comes across as pretty angry.
