    Much better using mcalpine Rd, past b&q, Gardiner st then side of the law to get into town.....from north west of Kingsway.

    I go that way at busy times, the queue can be a bit much on Strathie.


    And there are no concrete blocks waiting to jump out on you either.

    Queen's funeral the guy said the sparsely populated north of the Kingsway ....no sure but I'd hazard a guess most of the population lives north of the Kingsway.

    It's lucky old Betty's funeral cortege didn't have to turn left onto Strathie Road off Kingsway. The death toll might've been horrendous.

    Correct as Strathmartine Road was closed and members of the public were standing where it joins the Kingsway Circus to get a better view.

    I wasn't because I hate the sponging royal family so headed north hill walking to escape it all.
