[QUOTE=Arabdownsouth;40538787]I don't see us keeping a clean sheet so I think it will come down to who scores more. /QUOTE]
Got any more predictions for this season🚀🙈😂💙
I wonder if any worried Arabs and cocky Funsters are aware that DFC have lost 18 (Eight een) players since the end of last season including their 10 (Ten) loan players. So far 6 players have come in and obviously more will be added but its some turn around in personnel.
I personally don't think anyone worried needs to be, it isn't season defining, if Docherty and Odada were upto speed I'd be feeling quietly confident
There is more pressure on them, we are the team that hasn't lost any of the last six derbies, they are expected by many to get the win yet their team hasn't proven it can win a game like this and they won't be used to an atmosphere like Sunday either where it'll be hostile, if they don't win then it extends their top flight winless from the end of last season
We'll be right up for it on and off the park so let's see how it goes
We've seen this all before with the Funsters, the slightest smell of *success and they get cocky as phuck. "We're going to smash them" etc Best one was Callum Melville "We're going to take Scott Robertson off you". Bla bla bla
The best response is what we usually do, hopefully Goodwin doesn't give his famous pre match be calm speech because I want these players fired up and wired in to the task.
*Funster success - scraping a top 6 finish 🎉
[QUOTE=petermackie;40538915]I predict that you'll still be a f*cking bellend come the end of it. I predict you'll f*ck off back under your duvet if your lot get scudded. I predict it will be at least another 114 years before your lot win another Scottish cup. F*ck me I feel like mystic Meg here, this prediction sh*t is quite easy once you get started.
I agree we shouldn't be overly worried and i stick by what i said in pervious posts, that being there is a reason why the bookies have us as favorites for this game . I do somewhat disagree about this game being season defining though.
Win this game and we then have 2 of the 3 sides most people will have marked as favorites for relegation and games which JG will undoubtedly have marked as matches we need to be taking points from and possibly even maximum points from before facing the better sides. I said it before, its as good a start as we could have wished for .
The dee's , if they were to lose , then face a Hearts team who will more than likely be third by some distance having signed well during the summer then they are away to Hibs .
There is a very real possibility that after 3 games , if we can get off to a wining start, that we are sat with maximum points whilst that lot over the road are rock bottom on zero .
You only have to look at what getting off to a good start does for you when looking at St Mirren last season , other sides pegged them back but in terms of their 5th place and European finish that was secured in a large way due to their early season start

I'm looking forward to the game on Sunday, - our first game back in the top league. Nothing better than a game against the fun at a packed Tannadice with three stands full of United fans singing Beautiful Sunday.
In their eyes, Dundee are favourites to win, -they have a better team, better players, but we shouldn't worry about them, we've beaten many teams who have had the same ideas. Their "superiority" will put a lot of pressure on them, and failure for them would be a massive blow.
So let's get into them !!! and I predict a United win 3-2.
Come on United.
Still say a draw would be good, the game isn't on paper otherwise it looks one sided.
