Sheffield and Leeds having a revival , what a load of bunkem , Utd are Sheffield"s top club who are currently pushing for promotion but that is not a revival , they yo yo between the championship and the premier on a regular basis , it is not a revival it is rinse and repeat , if you look at Leeds then read what I have said about Sheff u and it is ditto , and Wednesday having a revival ? that has to be an attempt at humour, they have not been in the top flight for over 20 years , they did flirt with the play offs under Carlos a few years ago but mid table in the championship is no where near a revival. I also read some more bunkem, suggesting that the poor recruitment of the last two seasons is now down to the HC"s not the recruitment team, well that is convenient , lets not blame the owners no, lets blame the the employees, its about time some of our fans stopped creeping around the Oakwell top brass and opened their eyes , whilst ever this lot are running our club we will continue in decline .

My position is that it's down to the club to win me back and get me to handover my hard earned and go through those turnstiles once again .

I owe the club absolutely nothing and they need to give me something to hang my hat on .

Nothing I see suggests to me that they have any kind of plan , they are reactive to events rather than proactive , the sacking of Collins with one game to go last season was a clear indication of that .

I need to buy in to something these days and all I see from one season to another is an ownership who have no vision and are simply hoping for something to turn up rather than putting things in place that promote a vision .

The club is lost and doesn't know what it is anymore , these people have run their race here and it's crying out for change and some fresh eyes .

They would dispute this and say this is only their 2nd season - as during the Duff season they were wrestling with events behind the scenes.

I know too well what Barnsley Blades think of Barnsley Football Club and Barnsley supporters.

The answer to my question by the way is 02/02/2000, almost 25 years ago. Yes, a generation ago. However, with Wednesday now in the midst of a 'revival' as you put it, then it won't be long before Wednesday and Man U lock horns once again in the Premier league and with hundreds of Barnsley fans jumping ship to get to Hillsborough
