Clarkson has to be the most hyped player we've had in a long time and always fails to impress, McGrath is away and so is Mackenzie by all accounts. Duk is gone too but that's been known for a long time so that's 4 players I would be looking to phase out ASAP.

Sokler I'm still unsure of, I think he works better in a 2 up top but Jimmy doesn't play that system so pretty pointless him being here.

Nisbet and Ambrose can make a quick sharp harp exit in January.

Neilsen NEEDS to be someone who plays rarely and only for very specific games and Shinnie can fit into that mould probably next year. We should be building around Palaversa and Polvara in the middle of Jimmy's midfield.

Topi always gets subbed first no matter how he's playing and Shady Mo only comes on around 6-70 minutes usually so another 2 players we can't build around.

January and the summer windows based on that mean a whole host of changes and I've not even touched on the mentality of the players.

He was dreadful. Another woeful performance from him.

I also don?t see the fuss about Polvara?another player I would show the door. His decision to boot the ball out the park when he had enough time to put it up the pitch was ridiculous and ended up giving them the opportunity which they got their goal.

Thelin made a lot of mistakes today and his slow substitutions are haunting him now. Far better when he didn?t hang about and just made the changes straight at half time.

Did the Dundee United keeper touch the ball today? What a truly woeful attacking performance from us.

Thelin was outsmarted by Jim Goodwin today?let that sink in.

No surprise to find possible traces of traditional pant-pishing here, and a return from self-imposed exile of another who only seems to surface as a grim reaper-esque ghoul when things aren’t going too well.

Entitlement is a sad modern curse.

Why don't you concentrate on the points put forward in the posts rather than the poster themself?

Have a read of what I wrote and if possible put forward a differing opinion, that's how message boards usually work.

If you've nothing contradictory to say about my posts then I'll assume you are in full agreement.

JG is showing this season how a good a manager he is. Inherited a poorly performing group of players, overhauled it to remodel them on a vastly reduced budget to win The Championship. Then overhauled that to a squad to compete in Premiership. And he is doing just that.

Did a good job at Alloa. Did a good job at St Mirren and people seem to forget he was doing a good job at Aberdeen until the World Cup break where he had them sitting third in the table.

The seeds of what went wrong at Aberdeen were sown with 2 tough fixtures after the break, nearly holding Celtic to a draw then the players snatching defeat from victory to huns in injury time. Aberdeen were also holding their own at Hampden in semi against huns until the diddy Stewart got sent off. The disaster in last 2 games isn't all down to JG. For some reason they downed tools like United players did with Jack Ross, another manager let down by players. The quick turnaround in performances under your next sacked manager Barry Robson shown that.

You need to accept it just didn't work out in the end with JG in a bad month which the players should take take their fair bit of the responsibility. These things happen. Once you realise that and thankful for the record transfer fee for JG recruited Miovski you can move on and stop being so ridiculously stuck in JG hate mode.

Was a lot of grumbling about him last season down Tanmadice way too.

I don't hate the guy. Didn't work out for him in the end with us, but he's never stuck the boot into us in anyway upon his departure.
It wasn't just the post world cup games we grumbled about either. We had some horror showings under him well before then, especially away from home.

No idea if our fans were chucking stuff at him yesterday, as wasn't at the game, but sort of behaviour you expects from the Govan minks and the victims.

Still a happy-clapper here min, but canna say Ah'm nae disappointed wi' recent performances ... and though disappointed wi today's result, Ah saw a better, mair cohesive performance.

Ah'll go as far as tae say Ah didna think anybody in a Dons strip had a bad game .... even Nilsen ... but there are too many moments he jist gies ma the fear. Ye can play a blinder for 90 mins ... but if yer gaein up possession or fartin aboot in yer ain half, an' ye get punished, it coonts for nithin

While we have without a doubt the best support in Scotland why is there still a few numptees throwing a range of missiles onto the pitch, thats sh1te and should never happen.
Hope the culprits are caught on CCTV and dealt with properly by the club, utter stupidity of the highest order and embarrassing from a tiny section of our otherwise fantastic support.
Yes Goodwin wisna our best manager but nae need for that missile throwing yesterday that was a disgrace.

    fkn embarrassing

57 Vintage is only annoyed like the rest of us because our team has fallen flat on its face.
We are allowed to argue/debate with each other?that I have no problem.

Dave Cormack has real pressure on him and must back his manager. Thelin needs his own players in to play the way he wants.
If it is still going the same way after the transfer window the pressure will be upped on him and Cormack.

One thing is for certain?.we need new faces in the door who will make a massive difference straight away. Also the return of Pape Gueye is most certainly needed. He is more of a threat than the rest of his teammate?s put together at the opposition goal.

Hope this Latvian captain has something about him. I would certainly consider him for the captain?s role from the off. We are severely lacking leadership on the pitch. Making a foul and moaning at the referee doesn?t make you a captain.

Like to argue with that but pretty fair assessment to be fair. JG had to go in the end tho as he was not coming back from the tanking off Hibs and Hertz as well as the Darvel nightmare. No doubting players get Managers get binned tho.
I have no gripe with Goodwin and dont get where the hate comes from as he's been nothing but dignified since leaving us.
