Great opening 15 from you. Rest of the first half saw you create little. Could/should have had 2 in the opening 3 minutes of the 2nd half but didn't. We were better than at your place 3 weeks ago but we know where we currently are, in the same division as you but not in the same league. You had 3 years PL and now in year 2 of parachute payments. We almost went broke thanks to our previous owner, went down to L1, went into admin, 2 years of not being allowed to pay transfer or loan fees. Last summer we spent ?2M in fees for Zetterstrom and Goudmijn. Both well worth the money we paid. You paid ?5M for Bogle. Our entire 25 man squad cost half that. Our squad might fetch around ?18M, yours around ?150M. Most Rams fans understand where we are and why. You've been there before too, overspending, nearly going bust, surviving, dropping to the 3rd tier but getting back up. That's the journey we're currently on. Hopefully, in 3 or 4 years we are in a similar position to yourselves today. You're the best team in this league and should go up via the automatic route. See you in the PL around 2029/2030... I hope.

Great win and played well and more importantly heads never dropped.

Given Farke stuck in the past for not rotating the squad but fair play to him and also made the right subs.

Pleased for Aaronson too who runs tirelessly for us. When he and Jospeh play together the other sides back 4 never get a moments rest.

Felt a bit sorry for old biscuit legs at the end as a great run but the finish was all too familiar.

Farke has faith in the strength too, and thought how good it would be to use them all and have fresh faces back in v Blackburn. 🤔 Let's be totally honest, the players starting today simply didn't take the chance he provided them! Was that his fault? Gave them the usual hour and said we have to change it up now. And guaranteed...if he had have started the match with the same side from the last game...and we didn't score...you people would have complained that the players looked tired and needed replacing! No doubt in my mind at all! 😀 Hindsight..... Anyway, hope he keeps phooking up enough to keep us top of the ladder, otherwise the s#it will really hit the fan on here. 🙄

By the way, shots were 18 to 5 again. Therein lies our problem
    Absolutely spot on fella!!

We have seen about 12 games almost exactly the same this season alone. Standard set up from opposition that want to stop and frustrate us because they cannot compete, so they park the bus [Derby's wingers where essentially extra fullbacks for most of last nights game] then at every opportunity rough our players up, stop start, time waste - everything to put us off our game - and to a large extent it works, but their problems are always if we score first.
Even Man City struggle with teams that set up to frustrate.

Top of the league at the start of 2025 - Farke seems to have learnt from last season in making changes earlier in the game and using most of his squad.

Frustrating as it is - it's probably still a load better than what we will likely be watching in the Premier league next season IMO.

Excellent goal. Interestingly, Monaco Totty drew up this tactic for us before Oxford game i think, so I was very happy to see it executed so well.
Joseph's miss was terrible. Watched it in real time and then again in replay. It is terrible.

not sure he?s got the miles in his tank yet after his injury problems, our best winger. Must be a mare for a tiring defender to see him enter the frey. You can see his PL credentials, is nearly always involved somewhere in our goals when on pitch.

If Dan James could look up more before making a pass/shot and become a little more clinical in his finishing?...

Think Farke is getting better at rotating the wide players and giving them at least 20 minutes to make an impact - we truly have some great attacking options. Derby players must have hated James and Solomon coming on after 70mins.

I hear you thought about Solomon as a very clever player.

How is he correct? So he brings players he doesn't start usually all at once although as he says didn't perform no wonder! Weren't much worse than his preferred 11 as they created just the same chances and same misses. And didn't concede. We should c about mr Farke when he goes back to his usual crap. Anyway good win in the end much tougher than I thought and may the new year make us unbeatable.
