I think you'll find that legally do, and that's one you REALLY don't want to get into. Morally is a different story

PS you've gone into Will Self Tribute Act mode....

Significant, yes, 28% or as the figures have it 37% is still a minority!

Ooh you really are an establishment toady!

Oh of course they can provide proof based on laws which funnily enough were drawn up by those who currently happen to won the land, so it actually is one that I do REALLY want to get into.

After all what was legal yesterday may not be tomorrow and things can and do change. Also in the case of the Royals, the state could (and indeed has in many other countries) simply abolish their status and confiscate their land so Romanis proposition is false. I do realise that realistically that is not going to happen anytime soon, but never say never!

Then you are more naive than I thought - Uk population 2016 a tad under 67 million, I'd be surprised if at least 25% weren't basically racist. Oh they may never utter what they think, may appear to be (and in most cases are) upright ordinary citizens, but racially prejudiced all the same.

    Que?
    1. I didn’t define ‘significant’ as ‘between 20-50%.
    2. Approximately 37% of the electorate voted ‘Leave’.
    3. You’re the mathematician but whichever way you look at it...28%, 37% or indeed anything less than 50% is, in a two horse race, a minority.

If I was to claim that that all second and third generation Asian and black immigrants weren't british, would you say that I was racist?

Oh so are you going to abolish the Courts system as well as abolishing the Royalty?
Because no Court is going to allow confiscation of property owned by them.

Unless of course you have some Communist or Putin style govt that can seize private property.
An example happened in 1936-7, after King Edward VIII abdicated. King George VI had to buy back some of the properties the former owned as heir and successor to the Crown.
And yes, you'd need to get the Scots to agree too. They almost would want to make their own decisions on the matter if theres6 going to be changed or repeal of the Act of Settlement.

Sounds very easy this abolishment. But the problems it's going to cause and burden the country.
Again the point is why change something that's working?
And it's not 21st century moving forward etc, Sweden, Holland, Denmark and Luxembourg are European countries that have monarchs. I don't see them clamouring for a change.

Not necessarily. They are, most certainly, UK Citizens with exactly the same rights as you and me. I would call them British if they acted that way and integrated more. There are those who rarely venture out of their own community and live pretty much as their (great) grandparents would have done in Asia. Pretty much like the million or so Brits that have moved to the Costas yet still watch Corrie and congregate in their little local English boozer will never be Spaniards.

As I said in another thread, I have recently taken on Dutch nationality for purely selfish reasons. In March I will be at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam............ cheering on England, as will my two sons who were born and bred in Holland. I will always be more British/English than Dutch and that is logical. My 2 sons are pretty much 50/50. Any kids they have will be more Dutch than British in their outlook. We assimilate. I have coached Dutch kids at football and in the sport of rowing. I referee youth and senior games. Take a full part in local life............. but I am still a Brit at heart.

It's a complicated issue, probably made more so by my little "explanation". Those who don't assimilate, without necessarily losing the corner stones of their origins, probably aren't "proper" Brits.
