It’s been that bad that has I been a foreign dude watching that, I’d be wondering if Aberdeen had purposely thrown the game

Edit: obv not serious, we had some decent play, made chances but Christ! Them misses and the defending!

Atrocious in front of either goal. The story of the season missed chances and cheap goals. I really do hope that our inexperienced manager can turn it around but the names going around to replace the current muppets are far from convincing for maintaining our lower than expected position never mind actually improving.

    Well, I’m glad I didn’t watch that.

C’mon lads, don’t dwell on the past, all that was last season.

    Things could be worse.
You could be listening to Mcinnes telling us that he was confident about nearly signing enough players over the summer to turn things round.

So we end the season with only 36 goals in 38 games.

Ok, out of curiosity I did it. I skipped through the highlights.

Fuuck me, what a shambles at both ends - Jesus wept.

Lewis - absolute joke at the first. If he stays, and it’s a big if based on this season, the captaincy needs shifted.

As others have suggested, if Glass does want a keeper who’s good with the ball at his feet, then Lewis is in trouble.

For Sevco goals 3 and 4 - what the fuuck were Hoban and especially Campbell doing.

We have to get rid of players who’s decision making and execution of basic footballing technique is that bad.

What Campbell did at that 4th goal was inexplicable, and utterly criminal. A professional footballer should never consider making a pass like that into the heart of the defence.

As for the misses - there’s really no words for Hornby and Ferguson, just appalling.

Bizarrely though, there are some positives from that game. We carved them open a few times. hoofball seems to have been consigned to the bin & we did play some nice stuff.

Again Hedges looked excellent. Great passing, movement, attacking intent, very, very good.

This guy should be our highest paid player. Get it done Glass and get him paired up front with Watkins and an actual proper Rooney / Shearer type goal scorer. We need to get Hedges sorted now or that slippy cuunt will be sniffing about come January again - fuuck letting that happen.

You can see what Glass wants to do. He must see he doesn’t have the players - especially at the back.

If, and again it's a big if, he gets the funds required then there may be hope for next season afterall.

But then I tend to say that every year.

In the meantime, a few months respite will do none of us any harm...

Didn't see or listen to game, but looks like we at least we're making chances, getting ball and players in box . Lack of confidence ( and quality ...) Probably showed.
    No defence for defence though.
Hopefully Gallagher is more of a leader and a winner than our current set of losers.
Ruth deserved a chance today , but don't know how the loan deals wage structures were arranged .
The end of a dreadful season is the only good thing today.

Unsurprisingly equalled our record for worst goals for in our history. Once last century and three times already this century. Milne really did do a number on this once great club.

    That’s an appalling statistic.
Push the boat out for a goalscorer.

I fear that we are going to be worse next season.

I hope I am proven wrong but I don’t think Glass has it in him to turn us around.

I just hope that Cormack keeps his promise that he will allow Glass to bring in some quality players.

Let’s just hope that Scott Brown’s influence has a positive impact on this loser mentality that has infested the club in recent years.

This is going to be a very important season in our recent history , are we going to build on the steady ( albeit latterly uninspiring ) job done by McInnes or are we going to regress?

Huge job for a rookie manager , let’s just hope Glass and Russell are up to this and have some decent signings up their sleeves ....and get backed by DC.

All in all there’s a helluva lot of if’s and buts to negotiate.
