What a stupid question, if nobody met that criteria you adjust your selection criteria. I was asked what my definition of experienced is, so I gave one. Not saying it is right or wrong it is my opinion, you know the thing you have but seem to think is better than everyone else's. At the end of the day the club will appoint a manager that they believe is the best fit for the club and when they do I like any sensible supporter will be right behind him, hoping he is successful. The original point of my comment is we cannot go into another game with Wood and peltier in the dugout, it was clear yesterday they do not have the experience and ability to get the players to raise themselves to perform at the levels we have seen earlier this season. We need the management appointment so everyone knows where they stand and hopefully the players will lift their heads up, stop any self pity and prove themselves to the new boss. That should also motivate the fringe players, who get a clean slate.
I just want a manager in and like the rest of you i have to trust the recruitment process

Wouldn't the job description as manager of Rotherham United be to over achieve on a modest budget irrespective of championship experience .

Taylor in my opinion seems to have done that very well at Exeter City who are a fan owned club with an extremely modest budget plus reside in an extremely geographically football challenged area .

Can't be easy attracting players on modest wages to do all that travelling in this day and age .

Matty if you take job a clean sweep needed. For starters back to the home dugout. Were you can play players in their correct positions ie. McCart on the left of the back 3. We haven't got a left wing back good enough switch Chieo there with McCart behind him one natural left sided player there. Kelly & Washington up front. Time for Vickers back in goal. Good luck if you take job. January start moving players out surplus.

Maybe also he needs to talk to others to maybe fetch with him like an assistant, Woody can still help with Training and Mercer with keepers until we sort that out unless he wants to leave Exeter with no staff like we were

Also what about the recruitment process I don’t know what TS method is but it is very amateurish
Not certain you can blame TS or RUFC for Matt Taylor /Devon Live and Exeter City for announcing he had been offered the job.
Understandable MT has gone back south to consider his position, personal and have a talk with Wayne Carlisle his assistant down there. He could have chosen his words better. Life goes on.

Don't worry, the simpleton has a system to win the lottery, it's only a matter of time before he scoops the big one, and when he does he'll buy an extra mayday ticket to ensure that the Millers have a competitive budget for years to come.
