When was the last time we had two players sent off in the first two games of a season?

2019/20, Two sent off at Eastleigh on the opening day.

Last season when we won then drew 3 we were apparently finished, shouldn't have recruited LW and the owners never learned from the IB appointment. Its a transition to a new league, this isn't even a league game, I'll say now what I said then, give it 10 games and see where we are.

I agree. It's the second game of the season, we are playing a team a division higher who finished 11th last season, and we've not played what I would deem to be our strongest team.

We've got to find our feet and adapt to playing against EFL teams that will give us less time and space on the ball. That doesn't mean throwing away everything we have done that got us to the EFL. Of course we are not helping ourselves by making mistakes and silly errors but these seem to be as a result of panic and nerves. We also need to be a bit more confident which is why we will be playing it safe.

Seems the fans are the only ones who believed the defence needed strengthening. Our style of play is going to be leave us struggling against the teams in this league with the current defence.

Well clearly we were still looking at Fisher after signing the Wolves lad, it's probably more the case we haven't managed to get one yet.
