Didzy and Matty Palmer not even on the bench is strange when we could have named 2 more.

And Brins kept his spot? Is that a back 4?

I'm assuming it's a 3 of Cameron, Baldwin and Brindley with Chicks and Tobi as wing backs, Badger and Jim in midfield, Austin and Crowley as 10s and Scott up front.

Brindley is definitely on trial at the minute and LW is giving him every opportunity to impress

Not had a home draw in this competition this century, the last being against Huddersfield in 1999. We haven't had a home League Cup draw other than in 1st or 2nd leg games in 40 years! The last proper draw being against Birmingham in the epic multi replay round.

Never had a League Cup penalty shoot out at home, four away (won 1 lost 3).

Really surprised we didn’t use tonight to try the 4 at the back and play a more compact and strong unit. If we go 5 at the back, I get the ‘let’s not throw it all away stuff’ but we know we’re defensively better with a solid 4.
