Disappointed that a lot of knickers are soaking wet from the usual suspects, don’t panic ffs this is a learning curve for Jimmy Thelin he’s won 15 out of 16 games before tonight with a squad who are never the finished article.

Yes it’s disappointing we got humped 6-0,I honestly thought we would beat them today and the very least give them a game but it wasn’t to be.

If you want to be positive it shows Cormack that he needs to back Thelin a bit more this January,we have some good players but I think we need to splash the cash on a top quality striker and also bring in an experienced centre back to play along side Ruby or Molloy.

Ah dinna think there's many o' us 'drizzlin doon wer drainers, fae wer trunks tae wer trainers' jist yet min.

Disappointed, naturally, but Ah think we can acknowledge that maybe this game came jist a wee bit early in Thelin's 'revolution'.

Regardless o' the result, we are still improvin' and will keep gettin better, and it's still a good time tae be a Dandy ... roll on next wikkend

I’m not necessarily talking about people on here but there has a few poor comments on here.

If you look on other social media sites there are soaking drawers though.Lets calm down a bit with that nonsense there was always going to be set backs and this is one of them.

I trust Jimmy Thelin will learn from tonight and eventually get it right against that lot.

    We were leggy: tired today
No luxury of resting players on Wednesday and on the back of 2 mentally and physically demanding games was a game too far for us
Make no mistake, they wanted to give us a bloody nose today given the press we have had, they were clinical but worst I have seen us in possession for months - tiredness kicked in while they were as good as they have played all season
Fans at the end showed the players we are with them for the long haul and appreciate what we have shown until now and that we are together with them
    We will learn and grow

Just back to my mate’s after the game.

We never laid a glove on them today, never established any control and were basically cannon fodder. A very bad day at the office.

Was disappointed to see so many fans leave early, and at the same time proud at the end with the rousing reception those who stayed gave our players, who all looked devastated. By god we were loud. That tells them we’re with them and that one bad game is not time to lose the head.

Need to learn as much as we can, get our heads down and get 3 more points against Dundee next weekend.

    Stand Free.

Afore Ah get drunk .... a few observations.

If we add Wednesday's hun goal tae the mix, it's worryin' tae see how opposition forwards can play THROUGH our defence.... and make successful passes in our penalty area. Seemed on at least one occasion, defenders were worried about challenging for fear o' givin' awa' a pen ... fk it ... get in there ... at least there's a chance o' savin' a kick fae 12 yards ... better than fae 6 yards wi a keeper already commited.

Ah've become a big McKenzie fan ... Too little has been mentioned re. the fact baith oor goals v Der Hun came fae his drivin runs tae the opposition touchline and deliverin decent balls ... which had me wonderin if he's oor best 'winger!'

...but noticed he wis pretty effectively shut doon tonight - smart move Celtic (ya c*nts) ... and yet, he still managed our best cross o' the game for Sokler tae get on the end o'.

Devlin is usually comparably effective on the other wing ... but again, he rarely had the space tae progress. The interplay between our full backs and our 'actual' wingers has been crucial to our recent success .... in terms of delivering balls into the opposition box to be pounced on. Smelltic obvious did their homework.

Yeah, we def looked tired as the game went on .... mentally as well as physically .. which was evidenced most in our quality of passing. ... which is fundamental to retaining possession and staying in control.

Smelltic on the other hand, their quality/accuracy of passing was superior, not only to ours on the night, but would be superior to most teams any night.

Another flaw, perhaps understandable ... was our lack of patience. FFS ... it's Hampden ... it's a semi final ... excitement is natural. However, all to often, an unnecessary tackle/challenge resulted in one of our guys on the deck with one of theirs on the ball and with space to move forward.... whereas, just standing our ground and giving ourselves time to organise against a more predictable move from the opposition would have eliminated the 'panic' factor.

It's great we have a team who want to give 100% for 90 mins, but we could prob learn as much fae the 'anti fitba' teams as we could learn fae tonight's opponents.

Sorry Ah canna draa oot any positives fae the game ... but ... ken? 6-0?

Onywye ... onwards an' upwards ... COYR!

Nail on the head and spot on mate.
We cannot win every game so the run was
Always going to come to an end at some point in time.
That was a spectacular horror sh1t show and a helluva way for the honeymoon to come to an end.
For me there was no passmarks for anyone yesterday very very poor all over the place.
But lets hope its a bump in the road (more like hitting a massive pothole)
Interesting to see the response and how we bounce back, that will be a good indicator.

Aye, the run had tae end ... tae think itherwise is beyond delusion ... but like Swaddon said earlier .... had it ended wi Murderwell, StMirren or the likes, ffs ... Ah dread tae think.

But ... hold tight guys .... there will come a game ... this season ... when/where ... nae metter how fkn brill we are ... we will lose a game tae some sh!te like Ross Co .. or even fkn Hibs.

    It'll nae be the end o' the world ... it'll be a b*stard, a c*nt, a f*ck up, a sh!tshow, a fkn abomination .... but ... it'll be mair a blip than the end o' the world.

Ah'm pissed aff re. the semi ... but, although Ah thought 'this time - this fkn time - is oor time!' ... the stable (non fitba) part (majority) o' ma brain wanted ma tae go tae the bookie and stick a twenty on the Tims.

But ... fk it one run ends, another begins, and another continues ... and extends on Saturday

A stat I saw elsewhere, is that out of the last 24 trophies available to win in Scotland. Celtic have won 19, Sevco 3 and St Johnstone 2.

It's not even a duolopoly up here now, it's a monopoly.
    Depressing reading too.

Newco threw everything into stopping 10 in a row and are paying the price now they are skint.

The only thing we can do is pick ourselves up and go again next weekend and see where we end up over the course of the season.

The chances of us winning the league are slim, we just don't have the finances to build the squad required to compete on all fronts.
We have to go for it of course, as you just never know.

We also have to keep calling out Septic after the are pumped in the champions league and blame the financial gulf between them and other leagues, when the gulf between them and the rest of us in Scotland is far greater and hardly mentioned in our media.

We are all disappointed with that result yesterday and quite rightly so as it was a real doing.
Thelin has worked (and still will) wonders with this squad and of course there will be bumps along this new journey.
Do I trust him…i certainly do. This will give him an insight into what can happen with these players. An awful lot of poor performances from the players and i really hope they will quickly learn from that type of game and be a hell of a lot better for it in the future games.
We are out of the cup….but we are still in the Scottish Cup (obviously) and still the only team challenging Celtic in the league.
We can do this if we as a club learn to play them properly. Jimmy Thelin has a lot of work to do with his current squad but do I get annoyed with him because of 1 terrible result…absolutely not.
C’mon Dons let’s have more belief!!
