Is there a policy you can take out to cover a player who turns out to be ****e?

I do know that Toshney had to wait for one of his surgeries on the NHS.

Don’t know if that ties in with what you are talking about.

Barton, Booth, Frans were all given a form of pay off having had their deals terminated early.

Then you’ve got the likes of Lyng, Gillespie, Slater and Mason who although were only on the wage bill for a short time cost us any chance of promotion.

On the plus side Siegrist, Watson, Stanton (originally signed on loan by McKinnon but made permanent by Laszlo) and Clark have all played a big part this season.

He also gave Appere a 2 year deal when others might’ve released him and signed Banks on his first professional contract who we’re about to get money for.

Shhh... You can't say anything good about Laszlo on here.

Snowflake central on here. I must have missed the money tree growing outside Tannadice.

It's not been a good investment that's true, but is purely down to bad luck with a nasty long term injury. Neither the club nor the player can really be blamed for wasting a wage though, it is what it is.

Its always hard to say, we have signed some gems like Butcher, Shanks, Smith etc and also some stinkers like Sow, King, Pawlett and Cammy Smith (harsh on him) in this new regime. What I would say tho is I hope we have stopped signing players who once were good but have struggled with injury (excluding Freeman who is still a yound load) in the hope of them being what they once were.
