Tim only has that for those he doesn’t want to engage with.

myb Nelms and co can be shamed into action
They and us have more important things to concern us at present rather than a set of stairs that don’t belong to us.

Alternatively, we could spruce the area up, stand back, pat ourselves on the back....and get relegated.

How does sprucing the area up impact on the possibility of relegation.....c'mon.

We are in danger I agree and yes I wud rather have spl football than Bonnier steps but it's not an either or situation.

But rather than bicker about steps what's your thoughts on the chances of staying up....you havenae been on for a while.

No don't give up. Things like hoses and the appearance of parts of the ground do matter. I'm quite sure that there is not any element of ignore it , it's not seen from the posh seats etc. Everyone will be very conscious of spending money and I think that raising matters like the delapidated state of parts of the ground will help.

I am much more concerned by Shaded's comments about volunteers being turned down. For me this should be something that our club encourages and I don't understand why they would not try to foster exactly this sort of relationship with their supporters. Apart from the H&S aspects I just don't see what's not to like.

There will be people who support the club who will have the practical skills needed both to create a safe way of operating to carry out a specific task and the actual skills to do it. IMO the obvious person to coordinate some volunteer effort would be the stadium manager, or does the club have a handy man who might like a bit of help?

I am convinced that the ticket only access for the SE is part of the way it has to be operated to comply with the licence. You are entitled to your opinion but the point is we agree that it would be better for PATG fans to have direct access to the SE. I think there should be questions asked by fans and in particular the bodies that represent them to see if the licence conditions could be altered to allow a PATG turnstile to be operated for the SE.

There has been consistent comment about the loss of supporters going into the SE. The club will be aware of the dropping numbers and I would hope that if there was a campaign to have the conditions reviewed, then at the very least the board could ask the question of the authorities. Give it a trial period, but give it a go.
You would think if the council were putting restrictions on a part of a stadium then the club would at least tell irs paying punters why?

Again how could the Derry be "safer" if someone has a tix stubb in his pocket rather than a couple of pound coins change....

    Load of nonsense

I'm hoping that by bringing this part of fan concern back into focus, at a time when there is a likelihood that performances on the pitch will improve, the board might realise that the only way they are going to get more PATG customers will be to actively promote it and that this will make them review the licence agreement that they accepted under terrific pressure of if you don't accept these terms we will have no option but to close the SE.

agree that it seems illogical to portray the access to the SE by a ticket as a safer method of managing the SE than by accepting cash. this might not be the issue. Deeranged was involved with the discussions and I'm sure that we would not have signed up to this arrangement if it had been possible to avoid it. The point is now that we have had a period of good behaviour is it possible to create an amendment to the license that will allow PATG in a dedicated turnstile.

If he gets the players he wants I think we’ll do it.

We need to concentrate on getting through this season and then take steps to ensure we aren’t so vulnerable again.

Is there a law about having to be on here?

    When was the bad behaviour?
