My guess is that whatever the cause(s) of Ross leaving...it is bound to include disagreements with Burchnall on the way forward IMO. They're desperate, their jobs are on the line, the situation is fraught with make or break games coming every 3 or 4 days. It's hard to imagine there would be a consensus on who to pick, which players give us a chance of getting back in the play-off mix, what tactics to employ. And I can't see comments such as 'he's a man' 'we need animals' being particularly useful anyway.
So, yeah there could be something dramatic, Burchnall himself could be in trouble himself, but I think footballing/personnel disagreements will be there too

"Ill judged comments" to one of our own players. Must've been really ill-judged to have been sacked...

So that’s cleared up the speculation about why he was sacked.

Let’s start the speculation about what he said to be sacked and to whom...

To be sacked for a single comment, there could POSSIBLY have been Racial Overtones involved?

Do you know Racial, lovely lass.

It was during Saturday's match apparently. Would be mad to shout something racist that could be clearly heard by 30 plus people with no crowd in there. Maybe something homophobic like "you big fairy".

You would presume it was racist or homophobic for it to be worthy of getting rid of him straight away but there's not much point guessing about it, just move on now.

If there was a betting market, I would lump on racial. Depending on the odds, I might have a small saver on homophobia.

Can't think of any others worthy of consideration.

Could be. Or maybe an ill advised ‘yer mum’ gag.

    The intrigue...

Can't imagine it would be anything sectarian against Doyle or racist against Enzio...maybe something insulting anyway. But for that to lead to a dismissal would take a group of players (possibly unhappy with Ross?) to back the offended party.
