Not your fault - I have a feeling the contentious "C" word would have risen it's ugly head this week regardless, given the residual hangover from "that" Spurs match, and who we were playing this week. I deliberately didn't look at most of the teams this week, but forgot not to read Captain watch when I was reading your report! It looks like all but one of the people in "plural" no longer post on here, so may well have not been reading recent posts ... I'm considering a fresh League for next season, instead of just auto renewing, so people have to come on and read the board to get the code join in ... Will ask for VM views in our little democratic family first though ... Anyway, it's disappointing, but I'm not going to let it ruin my fun and love of FL - can only control what I do and all that. A big well done to all of our Lion hearted Villa Mad managers this week. You know who you are. I'm proud of you and happy for you all that we stopped you know who from having a goal fest. Nothing to do with our Villa defence - it was us Giggles.

Well, it's been a few weeks in the making, but I thoroughly deserved my Drongo this week! The hat Rosie made for Oz is a bit big for me so has slid down over my eyes - hopefully that will mean a better team selection next week! Can't be any worse!

PS. Just had a flash back to the end of my very first season doing VMFL write ups. LMV wrote to me behind the scenes asking if I'd continue with the updates as, at the time, it was only this thread and the Prediction League, that were drama free and she wanted to encourage them!
Ummm ...

I miss the Prediction League. I did win that! Oz's prize picture proudly graces my sitting room wall though I do get a bit miffed when I tell guests of it's origin and people say "You mean, YOU won a footy prediction league??!!" Huh

Rosie i have worked out why your always mid table. You have way to much money on your bench. I mean what's the point having 2 expensive keepers for example.
