The cause of the loss is piss poor defending again. First goal Cooper stood off Ramsey too much and should have broken it up and Bailey skins Pascal all ends up.

The second again should have been closed down.

He has been supported at least as much as Bielsa but where are the regular performances.
I agree with most of this. Yet I feel that Ted doesn't have the know how to outsmart other managers. In my opinion he has also been backed way more the Biesla.

I feel each match is down to the individual skills of the players and not anything that has been practised etc as part of tactics.

Where I am at, is if Biesla had this team we would be comfortably in the top 10 if not top 6.

Bieslas time was up, I was one of the ones who said he had to go, but Ted is proving he is not an upgrade.

    What he said.
The players are easily top 10 if they had any managerial guidance at all.
3 months ago he should have been gone.
    Levi, wrangler,jack jones awaits asap.

And while I’m at it. We’ve just paid 30 mil or whatever for a player and this is who he’s gonna be coached by? It’s a joke if it wasn’t so serious.

For the first time in years, and yes its ***** that club is recruiting, we are active in Jan. Sizeable cash being spent, but we dont really know who"s money it is. Is it Radz or more likely 49ers, with any investment knocked off any final buyout price. Are these players for Marsch and his future with club, or possibly the first move & signs of things to come, re ownership / manager etc.

Also grating how much he talks about fear, stress and clarity.

If the team doesn’t understand what he wants and isn’t clear how much more time does he need. He has been in the job for nearly a year now and this season has had two breaks - the Queen’s mourning period and the World Cup to spend time you wouldn’t normally get with squads.

Coached a lot of rugby and football and it seems like he is one of those coaches who can’t get into the weeds and detail of what he is looking for beyond saying be more aggrieved and tackle better.

His substitutions are often baffling (the most polite description I could find) which might suggest he sees the game in a way other top level coaches don’t - leaving on players who are clearly knackered and/or taking off players who are making an impact or randomly changing formation.

The subs last night seemed to stop out momentum a little and it just seemed like he thought throw a load of attacking players on create chaos and see what happened. Sadly the chaos ended up being to our pattern of okay. Wasn’t obvious how Joffy, Bambi and Rodders were supposed to play together.

Most obvious player to replace Aaronson was surely Perkins and Wober looked good at LB for the brief period he was there but he then brings Firpo on.

The more I think about chaos ball is not just on the pitch but in Ted’s head - chaotic, confused brain patterns.

There has been no progression in defending despite having a deeper squad with players he actually wants.

Adams looks to be at least as good as Phillips and possibly better. Sinisterra hasn’t had chance to show what he can do but is possibly as good as Rapha and Gnonto has the potential to be better.

Roca is an upgrade on last year as is Aaronson. Wober showing signs of being very good (and we have throw ins as an attacking weapon again with him).

Joffy has not had a crack of the whip under Marsh. Hjelde was spoken of as being the next Van Dyke and not sure he has okayed in the league under Marsch even though he has pace and can play at LB (he did a well a few times for Bielsa there).

Drameh must wonder what the deck he has done wrong when JM praises him in pressers but then never plays him in the league.

We need to get 3 or 4 wins out of the next 7/8 games and Ted shows no real sign of making us confident we can get more than 1 (being generous to him).

The Villa manager has won 4 out of his last 6 games we need someone who can give us that sort of bounce.

Orta and Radz need to say their good byes and let the next chapter be written with the new owners who should make a new coach priority #1.

Sorry for the rant but it’s so bloody annoying and obvious he isn’t the one.

Its like ground hog day over and over and over...

Beginning of the season most goals came from mistakes by Kristensen, but since Leicester everything comes down Sttuijk's flank, carbon copy goals wheer Struijk doesnt make a tackle no matter what and they score - Started against Fulham, then Spurs, Arsenal [Although Rodrigo put Struijk in the **** in that one] Cardiff and Villa - and I think a couple against Brentford, how many goals do we need to concede on the break and down our left flank before Ted does anything about it - even leaving Wober on the bench and letting Pascal screw up in exactly the same way against Villa.

We desperately need to sort the defence as i think we will score goals this season especially if we get the new guy and Sinesterra and Bamford back. Its all right Marsch saying we're not even halfway through the season yet but we have to play Scum twice yet and our last five or six games mean we will need to be well clear of the drop before the start of May

Usually a half glass full man - but given the regularity of us conceding from counter attacks - and we just don't ever evr get any good luck in a game - Last night 2 VAR calls both go against us by marginal offside decisions, Two good penalty shouts not even checked, referee giving us nothing at all in terms of free kicks or stopping their cheating time wasting tactics... as usual and they score of both their first two attacks, never had a single corner and in general where ****ing lucky

Anyway - got that off my chest!!

Just watching Saints and Everton - absolute shyte!!

I look at Brighton and take my hat off to them. They lose the best players and Manager but somehow they keep reinventing themselves. What a well run club.
