Good crowd. Cra p performance. We’re all just used to assuming we’ll be ok. We’ve come down with a bump! Next few games may be difficult, it let’s hope we sort it out, tighten up and get back to winning ways.

Two successive away trips after Grimsby and we play every side that was in L1 last season before the end of September, plus Salford away. Not obvious where 3 pts is likely to come any time soon. It's a must not lose Saturday for me.

Stall: First 20 mins well matched game... over 90 Mins Lincoln were a step above..... Notts played safe and cautious.... Baldwin red was sloppy ill disciplined defending.

Well that was 💩 again.. 2 games in and 7 goals conceded with 1 scored but 2 reds in that time.... Saturday could be very interesting indeed...need to wake up or could be a long couple of weeks 🤔

Nobody is saying they have thrown in the towel. What most people are saying is that some members of the same squad as last season aren't capable of stepping up to a higher division. And this constant "107 pts last season" isn't a benchmark for this season when taking the relevant opposition ability into account.

    LW "Too many uncomfortable things".

Frey noting after the interview "He's down tonight" and that the performance wasn't good.

Well it is a benchmark that should give confidence, we didn't just creep into the play offs and somehow got up, we absolutely smashed it and historically that's a good sign, Stockport had to adapt last season and came good. That said i do believe we need at least one more very decent defender and that's on the assumption Tipton is up to the challenge.

Wonder if there is a conflict brewing between managerial requirements and the accepted recruiting policy?

What's the point of having overwhelming possession and causing no threat? Always playing safe? Never mixing it with long ball? Predictable, slow build up? One up top with no supply and no support? Embarrassing capitulation.
