This is normal - its the first 3 months of the season that were not normal.

The collapse is because they are fragile, weak minded players who fold under the slightest adversity and pressure - thats been a running theme for most of the last 30 years tbh.

Lots of the starters and squad today have been shyting the bed and letting us down for several years now - this is what they are.

The miracle is the tune Thelin somehow got out of them for 3 months.

He started slowly at Elfsborg by all accounts, so we need to keep the heid and give him time - though he needs some significant short term fixes in now as well as any of the longer term targets from Scandinavia that may be available.

Just remind me what Alan Burrows brings to this football set up? Another complete waste of a wage. Him and Gunn should not be employed in their roles as none of the pair have any qualities and presence to make Aberdeen FC a far better football club. They are a pair of buffers. Yes men for Dave Cormack and Stewart Milne.

I have been critical of Jimmy Thelin and i really hoped the guy would do well. He has fallen down dramatically standard wise as a manager and keeps making the same mistakes which is costing us big time.
The captain of our team is also needing a good look at himself. He is another who has fallen down dramatically standard wise. I would strip him of that role. You can only captain a team so many times being the leadership of a team who gets the manager the sack.

Jimmy Thelin should though get this transfer window to sort this out. If all is not well after it shuts then we need to look elsewhere. Our club is in trouble at the moment. The players and staff all need to step up and roll up the sleeves.

The amount of investment Cormack now puts into his manager will dictate the remainder of our season. I predict lots of excuses again on that front and we will finish bottom 6 again. What does worry me about Thelin now though is his complete lack of faith in our youth despite the dross we have as first... and second pick. A worrying waste of money if they can't do any better.
I would also be critical of Thelin not having any faith in the youth players. Instead of constantly bringing on someone like Peter Ambrose why not try Fletcher Boyd for example, couldn?t do any worse.

The bigger problem to me is why we are having this issue year after year and having to sack our managers around about the same time.

Obviously I don?t know what?s going on behind the scenes but something hasn?t been right ever since Cormack took over as chairman. The thing that worries me most is it?s not going to change even after Thelin is long gone whenever that is.

Eleven of the six**** on the park today were part of the squad that almost got us relegated last season including the whole back five. It really should be no surprise at all that we continue to give away soft as sh1te goals. That's now 18 out of 21 league games we have conceded.

Our season is done until and unless we sign at least three new defenders. Over to you Cormack/Burrows/Gunn

Oh and by the way, everyone take a breath, we ain't sacking JT and nor should we, we just need to sack about 12-15 players instead and give JT some proper players to work with, not those that have sh1tehoused their way through the last few seasons

Just watched the highlights. I just wish Ruby had put the head on Watt. Don't think it was a red, but Watt made the most of it.

That second goal from Motherwell really was embarrassing from our point of view.

Looked to have played better second half, but toothless up front.

Agree with the comments about not giving youth a chance.

Jimmy looked very pi**ed off in his post match interview. I hope his red nose was due to the cold and not a sign he has taken to the bottle.

Haha...did think he looked like a late-Manure SAF. Earlier in the season couldn't understand why McDonald hadn't been given game time, then I was at the RC game and he should have been hooked after 20mins. And why would you bring on Ambrose instead of giving Boyd a run-out, the youngster would have put in a shift.

Pathetic, p1sh, shambollic, got what we deserved again sweet fk all. When are we ever going to turn this cr@p around. Farts and HUns up next which will more than likely result in a total return of 3 points from a possible 36. That has to be down there amongst the worst ever run by any dons squad / gaffer.

My take on the starting 11 at fir park yesterday:
Doohan - Not any worse than Mitov, least of of our problems
Devlin - Is ok but not good enough to be the go to player when the rest are struggling, needs to be surrounded by better quality.
McKennzie - sh1te time to be moved on.
    Ruby - "see McKenzie"
    McDonald - "see Mckenzie"
Shinnie - seeing out his career and could be a good impact sub to see out a game in the last 20 mins or so when we are in control of it.
    Nilsen - "see shinnie"
Palaversa - with the current squad he should be one of the first names on the sheet, he is nae world beater but will get better surrounded by better quality
Keskinen - should start every week as he is a player, but should be played in his best natural position to get the best out of him
    Nisbet - Return to sender
Duk - "see McKenzie, Ruby and McDonald"

    I’ve watched the highlights.

If that is a red card, fitba is past saving.

It was soft and Tony Watt provoked him into it but he?s still an idiot for doing it.

The guys a bombscare that keeps costing us with his brain fart moments. I thought it was something that we could get out of his game but clearly he is never going to learn so we should be looking to get rid of him.

Not sure if its true but someone on the hat is saying we turned down a 7 figure bid for him last summer, I really hope thats a load of shyte.

If a hat poster said I’d a hole in my arse I’d turn round and check.
Check it out for rumours at transfer time only - it’s now added antisemitism to its racism, Islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny. Embarrassing that that place has our badge on it.
