    Motherwell v Aberdeen

    Sunday 5th January
2.30pm k.o. (Odd time given don’t think on TV)

Rumours elsewhere of several injuries. Sokler I imagine long term.

Limited squad would at least ensure a more settled team? Less chopping/changing?
Trying to focus on positive. Less than 24 hours to match and no game thread suggests abdy’s as scunnered as me.

    Just win.

I thought Swaddon would have stuck with the match threads after a better performance on Thursday suggests we may have turned a corner.

Get that attack going at Well tomorrow and cut out the fannying about at the back.

We have to win again at some point, so tomorrow it is.

2-4 Nisbet hat trick in the first half puts us in command and a quick Motherwell double after the break to get our backsides twitching. Ambrose comes off the bench and hits a last minute effort to give us breathing space and three points.

Unless the performance level improves dramatically across the board from recent weeks - we are getting nothing fae this one.

No clean sheet is a given as usual, so can we score at least two down there?

    Hmmm.

Tam Cowan often says on Off the Ball that when a team needs a result, they usually get one against Motherwell.

I don't think we will, though. 4-1 to the Well.

Am going but with very little enthusiasm. Other than no clean sheet only other thing guaranteed is that it will be absolutely freezing.

No disrespect but hoping your journey is in vain and that the game is off. On the plus side you won't have seen us humped and you'll have plenty of time to have a bevvy.

I am going to be positive about the result as I watched Aberdeen do a bit training on Saturday morning and they certainly wouldn?t have used all their energy levels. 0-2 Devlin and Morris
