    All?s well that Rothwell.
A day before the match I was talking to a colleague who knows a bit about about football. His brother actually used to coach Brenden Aaronson. I told him that I thought Farke would start Rothwell (because he usually does at home; Gruev for away games) and Byram for his height is very good at corners (both attack and defence). I thought that Farke would try to start Struijk for his height but I didn't know what to do with Ampadu if Struijk started. I was surprised Rothwell didn't start, and disappointed Byram didn't start either. If you look at the 2nd goal, Byram gets the near post flick which serendipitously goes to Ramazani. Without that flick there is no goal. Sunderland did not and could not adjust to another tall guy in the box late in the game. I think he should have been there from the start.
Ona different note, teh record for least goals conceded in the Championship is 30. Burnley have conceded 9 and look like they will shatter this record. Interestingly, Leeds have conceded 20, and with 13 games to go, there is a small chance that they will break the record too. For the record, (see what i did there?), the record for any league in England is 15 (Chelsea in the Premier League). Burnley might get that one too.

Was straight at him and a good keeper would of guided out for a corner not back in play which luckily for him didn't go far and the dude kicked it straight to him again instead of chipping it over . In play might look great save but watch it again. There keeper was more impressive we should have won a lot earlier than we did.

If we go up I would imagine a new Keeper would be top of the shopping list with Meslier either moving on or staying on as back up.

Not his biggest fan but he has pulled off some cracking saves and looked pretty solid since his catalogue of errors , he was superb against Fat Franks lot , fair play to him.

Sunderland were well up for it and played as if their lives depended on it. I predict they have burned out last night and will lose their next 1.
Sometimes it just looks like the opposition is always more vigorous than us, but sure what do i know.
Take a draw against the blunts and it should be plain sailing after.
Ahem. Should have put money where my mouth was
