He isn’t going to go to a team who are battling at the wrong end of the league where there are very few chances created. He has to go somewhere where teams create chances for him like we are doing here.

We haven’t had anything put into the club but we will wait and see.

I don’t think the January window has really kicked off for anybody yet. When it does then things will trickle down."
Cheers. Think the writer has a bit of previous for non stories IIRC and I'm not even sure that's a recent quote ie in the last 72 hours. But if it is it could be a softening up for us to expect the worst. Hopefully not.

Edit, just checked the Courier and that quote is in there so it looks like either the Record was at that press conference or more likely lifted the quote straight off their website.

At this moment in time, we don't need the money. Tell all the hovering vultures to get tae

Win the league , give him his medal. sit down close season , discuss options, and if he wants to go without gracing the superdooper SPL let him go with Arabest . No problems there.

Please , no going back on numerous statements from the club saying he's not getting sold.

"NOT tonight Josephine" should be suffice

IF he goes in Jan, no way would price exceed 1.5m. If QPR etc want a proven striker then why not go for Morelos? Coz they want one for peanuts going by their income.

I find it crazy that ANY CLUB would pay the money mentioned for a player who is unproven at any level above the Scottish Championship. This league really is horrendous. The calibre of defenders are very very poor. The English Championship is a massive step up to what we're playing against every week. It's a big gamble for whoever, if anyone actually does, buy him before next January at least.

    @B4Igo and @thearab
No chance he's going anywhere for £1.5 million.
In Tony Asghar and Mal Brannigan, not to mention Mr Ogren himself, we have people in charge now who actually know what they're doing.

It's maybe not comparable and maybe my figures are not exact but....

    Stuart Armstrong
    To Celtic £1m
    Celtic to Southampton £7million

    Andy Robertson
    To Hull £2.8 million (maybe!)
    Hull to Liverpool £8million

    Who's next
    Lawrence Shankland
    To QPR £2 million
QPR to West Ham/Crystal Palace £7 million

We need to break that cycle and I honestly believe we have the management in place to do it.
Shankland will not be sold cheap to the first bidder imo

Robbie has to say stuff like that to the press, he’s not said anything untoward anyway, shankland will still be here at the end of the season, past that I’m not too sure all depends on the scoring machine and what bids come in eh

Shanks is happy here ATM. Don't think Ogren will cash in this early, and the longer Shanks stays happy and here at United, the better for both parties.

If he can score goals in the Premiership for us, his options will increase, and he'll be worth more too.
