This from me too, but I'm really not expecting the brothers to pull the trigger this season.

If I were them, I would remind Ardley - if they haven't already - that if he has any hopes of a new contract, he needs to get us promoted this season.

I've seen nothing to suggest Ardley can get this team promoted. He seems like he has no idea how to get the best out of our attacking options but when you look at his record so far in management it's not difficult to see why.

I really hope if the owners decide to keep him until the end of the season he can prove me wrong but I won't hold my breath.

    OUT OUT OUT
What do we want? Ardley out
When do we want it ? Now!!!

There will be plenty of in & out of work Managers that would love the Notts' job
I'd say the club has a better set up than a lot of Div 1 & 2 clubs, better support & financial backing that Ardley seems to like to waste.
How many players has he signed since being here? & still can't put a performance on for 90 mins

Well it looks like the general mood has clearly shifted.

So as Pete suggests lots of managers out of work that would love the Notts job.

Suggestions please just in case the Steady Danes surprise everyone. If you were them who would you have lined up?

Get rid immediately. Sooner have doyle in charge until the end of the season in an old fashioned player manager role than Ardley he might even drop himself.

I'm pretty sure that the Ardley in or out question is redundant until the season ends, but I'll answer on the basis that it might be possible. My answer is a definite OUT. This is based on the two possible options it would raise:

    1. Our chances of going up if we stick with Neal Ardley.
    2. Our chances of going up if Neal Ardley is replaced by a manager selected by the Reedtz brothers.

It's by no means certain that getting rid would lead to success, but much of my gambling instinct is based on probability, and on that basis option 2 would be my stand out value bet.

I'm pleased to inform you there is zero chance of that ever happening. My theory on that one is that in essence it would not cost any more than it does now from a financial point of view and you would imagine he has the respect of the team. It has been muted on here more than once and ( hopefully) he won't be playing for us next season but he does bring stuff to the table. It was slightly tongue in cheek but not entirely tongue in cheek.
