    Lawwell Transfer Window Statement

Big Peter once said "Every transfer window we get to we aim to be stronger at the other end. January is not the best time to be doing it, but our intention will be to come out of the window stronger, and if that means finding some value in the market then that is what we will do."

Well he certainly didn't achieve it last January or in the summer so over to you Peter to see if you are a man of your words this January.

With Samaras perhaps leaving you have got a wee bit of catching up to do to appease the Celtic fans after the big profits achieved on Hooper, Wanyama and Wilson in the summer.

A proven striker is a necessity and a quality midfielder are much needed before The Champions League Qualifiers in July but guess it will be left until the summer.

    Here's hoping...

I doubt Celtic will make any significant purchases in January. Nothing much for any prospective players to look forward to until the CL qualifiers in June/July and they are winning the league at a canter with the current set of duds.

2 quality central midfielders please plus a striker and get rid of at least 6 players from the squad

Let's face it, Celtic will sign no-one and there'll be even less Tims at the P*ggery for the second half of the season.

celtic dont need to sign anyone.

they should keep the dosh till the summer and by some decent quality.

celtic have too much quantity and not enough quality, a problem that surfaced during the strachan era.

also maybe lawell can explain why it costs ?29 to watch celtic for a single match catogary A ticket.

does he think it represents value for money.
