Thread: Qatar world cup to beplayed in winter

Qatar world cup to beplayed in winter

Seems half way sensible but it will cause a lot of disruption to a lot of leagues.

I'd have preferred it to be played in January but the African nations is already scheduled so that's out. - view external link

They should be moving the phucking tournament from Qatar rather than moving when it's played.

    Horrible, corrupt basturts.

They'll bring the tournament forward to Jan 2022, not put it back till 2023. I think Scotland should boycott it, screw FIFA.

The countries affected will have 7 years to move their 2021-22 season out to June/July, a wee bit of summer football rather than January misery, what's the big deal.

Another disgraceful act that treats the supporters with nothing but contempt.

    The sweet smell of corruption.
