I don't really understand why it's an issue. If people want to shag other people of the same *** behind closed doors, then fair enough. Why the big media hoo ha every time someone admits it?

I don't think there are many football players refusing to come out if any > who gives a fv k if they are anyway ??

Maybe in other sports they feel uncomfortable but I honestly don't think its an issue in football

I think it good that he came out. Might have had even more impact had he done so while still a player.

On the law of averages there are plenty of gay players and good luck to them, but for one reason or another they've not come out about it.

It shouldn't be newsworthy that a certain percent of players are gay, but none have come out about it so it's clearly an issue.

I don't think it is the law of averages in football

I think homo***uality is rife in Womens sport (ie Golf Tennis football RUGBY) almost mandatory

As someone who's enjoyed the erm delights of a few sports women - on different occasions let it be said - I don't think it that mandatory at all in womens sport

He had one of the hardest tackles in the game when he stepped on to that pitch.
