Question about the ever changing laws of the land?

How the phuck are we supposed to know them? its not like we all get a copy, like the phone book

Is it a case of we find out when we've broken them, does justice rely on word of mouth in the 21st century? what a phucking shambles, stop me if i'm talking shyte, but half the time i don't know what the phuck the law is on any given matter

I think most laws are pretty easy to decipher, presumably you're referring to the people getting jailed for sectarian internet stuff, in which case, don't type sectarian/racist stuff online & you should be ok.

no mook, i didn't mean that narrow minded question, i was genuinely asking, for instance, how do they expect teenagers to know what's illegal?

    i find it bizarre

Surely it's generally just knowing the difference between wrong & right, no?

Don't take drugs, don't vandalise things, don't steal, don't physically hurt people, don't start fires etc etc. If teenagers don't know this stuff then their parents need to be taking a look at themselves.

It's illegal to enter or attempt to enter a football stadium under the influence of alcohol.

And it's up to plod (the likes of ImTheBoy) to decide whether or not you're under such influence. So if you've had say two pints before the game you can be lifted on the whim of the polis while others can be left unmolested after drinking 3 pints or more

When you let police decide, it can degenerate into a police state.
